Chapter 5 (Running Lines, Budding Bromances and Third Person Memories)

"There is no way in hell I'm doing this" I said as Leo sat down in the big house.

This morning Leo gathered Nico and I to learn our alternate persona's in the big house.

So far it wasn't going so well.

"Come on Elise, We have to know every aspect of these people to be them" Leo said irritated.

"But Kyra is nothing like me!" I demanded.

"How do you think I feel" Nico said.

I stopped at his words and looked at him.

"I mean this Jared creep likes polo, golf, art exhibits, outings to the Theatre and yachting" Nico said appalled.

"I have no clue in hell as to what three of those are and the other two sound boring as shit" Nico said horrified by his alias.

"Stop complaining guys, we have to do this for the quest" Leo said.

"Oh look at this Kyra sings, dances and is on swim team" I said throwing my folder across the room.

"Hey isn't that good news?" Leo asked me.

"No!!! I'm probably going to have so much shit to juggle, between choir practice, ballet rehearsals and swim practice I'm going to have no social time on my hands!" I complained.

Leo sighed.

"Hey you know Maxwell isn't perfect either, he has to put up with a lot of Kyra's crap!" Leo shouted.

"Well then why does Maxwell even stay with Kyra!" I shouted.

"Because he's probably fucking insane" Leo muttered.

I stopped talking to Leo and crossed the room to pick up my folder.

Leo sighed.

"Listen guys, don't think of these people as some fake act you have to put on, look at them as though this is you".

"Okay then it looks like we have work to do then, if we want it to seem as though we've been this person since birth" I sighed.

"Ugh!!!" I complained throwing my folder across the room.

"Kyra!" Leo yelled at me.

Leo insisted that we use refer to each other with their aliases because other wise we might slip up in regular conversation.

I had a feeling he just wanted us to call him Maxwell.

"What is it Max" I said pronouncing the Max obnoxiously.

"Just try to pay attention" he said picking up my folder.

I sighed and extended my arm for Leo to hand me the folder.

"Okay I think we've got this down" Leo said giving me my folder.

"Okay Kyra what do your parents do?" Leo asked me.

"My father is Harold Langley the CEO of Langley inc. they're a world class organization that's main business is in transportation" I recited for what felt like the 5th millionth time.

"And my mother is Jen Langley a multimillion dollar fashion designer who travels around the world constantly due to her demanding job" I added.

"Good" Leo said.

"How about you Jared?" Leo asked turning to Nico.

"Um how about go fuck yourself" Nico groaned.
