Chapter 21 Part 1 (Guilty Brothers and Boyfriends)

*Percy's Dream*

"Come on Percy we're going to be late to class again and I don't want mommy to get another phone call" Elise whined banging on her older brothers dorm room.

Elise heard shuffling from the other side of the door and a groan.

"Okay, Okay I'm coming" Percy complained opening his door to find his little sister standing there in pigtails.

Elise offered her brother a big grin and her two front teeth were clearly no where to be seen.

Percy started walking down the hall but stopped when he realized Elise wasn't beside him. He turned back to find Elise giving Percy a sad look.

"Are you coming?" Percy asked Elise.

Elise gave Percy a sad puppy dog look and held her hand out.

"Don't you think you're a little to old for me to hold your hand?" Percy said raising an eyebrow at Elise.

Elise just sat there with her puppy dog eyes and jutted her bottom lip out. She shook her head and sniffled.

Percy sighed and went back to hold his little sister's hand.

As soon as he did Elise's face lit up and she held on tight to his hand as they walked out of the dorms to the school building.

Percy ignored all the kids taunting him as he held Elise's hand and led her towards the second grade hall. They walked down the hall and Percy held Elise's hand all the way to her classroom. When they arrived at the door Percy let go of her hand and started to turn away but was stopped by a small hand grabbing his wrist. Percy looked down to see Elise with a scared expression on her face.

"Don't go" Elise said her eyes starting to water.

Percy knelt down so that he was closer to her height and shook his head.

"I have to go Ellie, I have to get to class as well" Percy said softer.

Elise's eyes began to water and she shook her head.

"I don't want to be called a freak again" Elise said to Percy tears begining to pour out of her sea blue eyes.

Percy engulfed his little sister into a hug and wiped away a tear.

"You're not a freak. You're going to be fine without me okay?" Percy said to Elise.

Elise shook her head.

"All the kids make fun of me. The teachers yell at me for doing things I didn't do" Elise said continuing to cry.

She looked in her big brothers eyes but this time her voice was different, older.

"You don't see them saying that I've done anything useful in the last year or two".

Percy wanted to speak, he wanted to change the words he had spoken over and over but the same ones kept coming out of his mouth.

"You Haven't"

His little 8 year old sister sat there stunded at what he had said

"All you've done is fucked with everyone's emotions! You nearly got a new demigod killed and you've nearly gotten yourself killed as well!!! You're dead weight and all you do is fuck things up! Even when you were unconscious for 2 months you were fucking everything up!"

His cute little sister quickly morphed into her older 16 year old self.

She sat there with tears in her eyes.

Percy zoned out as she spoke and ran out of the cabin leaving him there alone.
