Spending a couples days away from people makes them miss you a little.
2 or 3 weeks makes them miss you like crazy.
But 2 months makes them forget you existed.
It's really fun.
"Ease into it, we don't want you tearing your stitches" Henry said as I stepped out of my hospital bed for the first time.
The second my feet touched the floor I felt as though I was going to collapse.
"I can't do this" I said as I fell into Percy's arms.
"Yes you can all you need is a little practice" Percy said steadying me.
I held on to Percy's shoulder for dear life as he helped me stand up straight.
I wobbled again but this time was caught by Annabeth standing opposite of Percy.
"It's okay Elise your muscles are used to not being worked, its going to take some time to get them back to normal" Annabeth said as I steadied myself between both of them.
I clenched my teeth as I went for another step.
This time it was only a little bit easier and I still fell.
"You'll get better I promise" Percy said helping balance me again.
This repeated about ten times as I gradually fell less and less.
I took a step forward and this time I only wobbled a little but I didn't fall.
"Look I did it!" I said excitedly.
"Good job Elise you only have to work a little but more today and then you can go back to bed" Henry said from the corner of the room as he looked on.
I looked at Percy and then back at the hospital bed.
"Can I sleep in my cabin tonight?" I asked Henry.
He started shaking his head in objection so I looked at Percy with the best puppy dog eyes I could manage.
"Please Percy?" I begged quivering my lip.
Percy looked at me then to Annabeth who was awing and then to Henry.
"She would be in great hands. I won't let her get out of bed and Annabeth will check on her health" Percy offered Henry.
"Absolutely not, We need a doctor present at all times" Henry stated shaking his head.
"Annabeth has been reading up on how to help Elise through this and I assure you Grover will be in the cabin at all times" Percy said.
Henry looked as though he was considering it and then slowly started to shake his head.
"We could have an Apollo cabin member check in every hour?" Percy offered.
Henry looked at me and I gave him pleading eyes.
"Please Henry, being by the sea will be good for me" I begged him.
He looked at me and then sighed in defeat.
"Fine go ahead, but if I hear anything about you getting re-injured I'll have your ass in this hospital room longer than Mr. D is stuck in camp" Henry said pointing at me.
I squealed in excitement and Henry wheeled a wheel chair in for me.
I gave Henry a kiss on the cheek as I sat down in the wheel chair.
"Thank you Henry!" I said as Percy and Annabeth wheeled me out if the infirmary.
----------------------------On the way to my cabin nobody recognized me and everyone was giving me odd looks.
