Evelina blinked awake. She jumped back as fast as possible, seeing Scotts trying to crawl up on her. She noticed her shirt had been pulled up a little bit as if he had been trying to take it off. Her cheeks heated, but she regained her strength to fight him off quickly just to help alleviate the embarrassment.

A sharp ache echoed throughout her head. She couldn't help but moan, a whimper quickly following it. She could hear Joey struggling to break free from the chains that once again held him up off of the ground and Zach yelling out threats, but there was absolutely no chance of either being able to help her. This was all up to her.

"If you don't do as I want, I will make this way worse than what it needs to be." Scotts reached over, pulling her close to him. He kissed her again. It was sloppy and wet; a far cry from Joey's tenderly sweet kiss. It made her gag.

Ev wanted to hurt him so badly, but her freedom was quickly diminishing. She felt disgusting and dirty. She could feel tears slipping down the corners of her eyes. She chanced a look at Joey. Her heart dropped looking at him. She knew that he hated himself right now for not being able to protect her.

"Stop it, Davy! I'll do anything you want. Just don't let him do that to her!" Joey begged. Anxiety flowed through his veins with each passing moment. He felt crushed and desperate.

"Joey, I will slowly destroy you, but first I'll destroy the most important things that belong to you. I will make you watch and listen. Evelina is just the tip of the iceberg." Davy informed him. Cruelty ran deep through his veins.

Joey tried to pull free from the chains that held him there. His strength was used up, but he wouldn't just give up. He couldn't. His body was too weakened to pull himself up or move around much. He let his wrists and body hang from the meat hook for a moment. The slackness allowed him a chance to kick around at Davy. Even just a little kick might pull away not only Davy's attention, but Scotts as well. It was a small gesture, but one that could buy Evelina some time. He extended his body out in a swinging motion, managing to kick Davy's leg a little bit. It was just a tap, but there was enough force to irritate his brother.

Davy turned, he glowered at his baby brother. Not even a few seconds passed by before he was next to Joey, throwing a very well placed punch into his ribs.

Joey gasped, not able to do much more than let himself just hang there. The lack of oxygen from the position forced him to try to regain a pulling motion to breathe every minute or two. His breathing was labored, his breath hard to catch. His upper body burned from the position he was in. His arms felt like they were being ripped from their sockets. All he could think of was that if there was a God, then they needed a miracle from Him soon. Time was running out. He could see it in his brother's eyes.

Davy put his hand under Joey's chin and pulled his face up, leveling it with his own face. "Don't do that again." He warned him.

Joey pulled his chin out of Davy's hand and bit it. Desperation called for extreme measures at a time like this.

Davy jerked his hand away, hollering in pain. Anger clearly coursed through him. He smacked Joey across the face before motioning to one of his men to pull the chain up a little higher.

"Haven't you done enough to them?" Zach piped in. His nostrils were flaring out, spite filling up his eyes. He was still on his knees, cradling his hand. Seth stood overtop of him like a giant bodyguard. "You're a monster."
