My lungs felt compressed and my throat ran dry at the sight of the living room up in flames. I didn't have time to process it though because my only concern was Briar and her safety getting out of here.

Harry and I ran down to her room, following the fire trail that was lit from our room to hers. We got to her room to where Niall was lifting her up from the crib, between us being a roaring fire in the center if her room.

She was just in her diaper, balling her eyes out in fear of the fire that's roaring right in front of her.

My heart broke watching her cry in terror but she was okay and that's all that mattered. Thank god they didn't put the gasoline in her crib.

Niall held her in his chest, nuzzling her face in his sweater and holding the back of her head before walking around the fire with his back to it so she wasn't closest to the flames. The fire was huge in the middle of her floor, making the hardwood start deteriorating into nothing and it was a matter of time that the floor would just collapse all together.

When Niall got to us, he handed Briar to Harry to where she immediately latched to him in fear. We had to get her out of here before she inhaled too much smoke in her lungs. It was so incredibly hot in here and her face was burning up from it.

Harry places his hand on her bum and one on the back of her head, covering her face from smoke in his chest before we started going to the stairs.

"Stay between Niall and I and we will get out of here!" Harry shouts over the sounds of the fire roaring from the lower floor and Briar's bedroom.

I nod and rub Briar's warm back briefly before we started to go downstairs. Niall was on my right while Harry was with Briar on my left. The staircase was mostly together besides the railing at the bottom that was starting to catch fire. We all half huddled together to get out of here safely, trying to avoid any flames between here at the front door.

The living room had a giant roaring fire in the center of the room, reaching to almost the height of the tall roof. I couldn't bare to really look at how much the fire has spread because I knew it was a lot and this was our home that was deteriorating into nothing.

We carefully dodged our way through the multiple growing fires until we gracefully got to the door.

Niall swung the door open to where the cold outside air hit us like beautiful relief. We all sprinted out of the house and down the driveway to as far from the fire as we could. We got to the end of the driveway and stopped, all turning around to look at house going up in flames in the middle of this forest.

My eyes perceived the place with so many memories burning away into nothing. The fire in the living room started to get so tall that it was burning the roof. My heart slowly broke watching our home withering away with the memories. This was Briar's first home, everything she loved was in there and now it was going to be all gone.
