The walk out of the venue and to the car seemed a whole lot longer now than it did when we got here. Everyone was exhausted now that the excitement was starting to subside.
"Auntie Vivie, carry me." Lily whined.
She was seven and not a really big kid but still, I was tired too.
"Lily, we're almost there." I promised.
"But Daddy does."
"I know but I'm not as strong as Daddy." I told her.
Ben could carry her but I couldn't. I can't catch a break with this kid.
"Can't I get on your shoulders?"
Looking down at her, I knew she just wasn't going to stop and her arguing was wearing me down so I folded.
"Fine."
Bending down, I didn't let her get on my shoulders but I did let her piggyback.
"Kenzie, here, take this." I said, handing over the bags to her.
We didn't have much further to go and I knew that. By the time she got on, it was going to be time for her to get off.
"There's the car." I said, pointing the key fab in the direction and unlocking the doors.
Thankfully, the drive back to the hotel didn't seem anywhere near as long as it did coming here. There was hardly any traffic at this hour of the night. Glancing in the rearview mirror, all there girls were passed out and it was the quietest it's been all day.
As I drove, my mind slowly flipped through the events of the day. There were so many amazing moments but majority were seriously cringeworthy and those, I'd like to forget. I made myself look like an ass more in this one day than probably most of my life.
There was that one little moment on stage though. Even thinking about it now was making me blush. After Jared dragged me out there, he ordered me to sit and as stunned as I was at his stern behavior, it was also deeply arousing despite the thousands of people who were watching. That moment and the thrill he unknowingly sent through my body would be something I'd definitely remember.
Pulling into up to the hotel, I was surprised that there were quite a few fans still waiting for the guys to arrive back.
"Okay girls, we're at the hotel." I yawned, exhausted and anxious to get to sleep myself.
The valet opened my door, "Aww, they're all tuckered out." he chuckled.
"We all are!" I replied as I opened the rear car door and gently shook Paige to wake her up.
Everyone was dragging as we walked to the elevators then to our room. I thought we were going to head straight to bed since it was well past midnight but as soon as we got into the room, it seemed like the girls got a second wind.
"Auntie Vivie, I'm hungry." Lily whined, throwing herself down on the couch.
"I'm kinda hungry too." Kenzie agreed and Paige nodded her head.
"Okay...well," I thought out loud, "the restaurant is closed. I could see about room service."
Going to the desk, I searched around for the menu.
"Can we just order pizza?" Kenzie asked.
"Umm, yeah. I think the only place open now is Pizza Hut though. You guys okay with that?"
Pulling up the menu on my phone, the girls quickly decided on a simple cheese pizza and I got myself a salad. I wasn't hungry until they started talking about it but now I felt like I was starving.
