Before I went to bed, I set my alarm but ended up not even needing it. I was stirred awake by the warm rays of sun that filtered through the shades, brightened the whole room. It was my favorite way to wake up.

Shielding my eyes, I squinted as I glanced at the clock on the nightstand, "Oh wow....okay."

Yawning and stretching at the same time, it was only six o'clock but I wasn't going to complain. I actually loved mornings especially when I managed to wake up without an alarm.

Getting out of bed, I checked on the girls, who were still sound asleep, then went to make myself a cup of tea. This gave me a little extra time to get some work done before the hustle and bustle of the day began.

By eight o'clock, I was on my second cup of tea, had cleaned up the living room from the night before, answered my emails and finished a little paperwork. Searching though my tote, I pulled out the Adventures in Wonderland confirmation to reconfirm when we needed to be at the venue and where to go.

"Morning, Auntie Vivie."

A very sleepy Paige wandered out from her room to snuggle up with me on the couch. She made my heart melt she looked so adorable.

"Morning." I said, giving her a hug as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes, "Did you sleep good?"

"Yeah, except Lily kept stealing the blankies."

Before I could say anything, we heard Hurricane Lily already full of piss and vinegar as she walked out of the same room, "I did not, you lie."

That easily pulled Paige from her sleepiness, "No, YOU lie."

Lily threw herself down on the opposite side of the couch, putting me in between them.

"Okay....no fighting." I warned both of them, "Be nice."

Both girls huffed, crossing their arms and turned away from me. Neither one were in a very good mood and I was mad at myself for not making them go to bed earlier. Today was not a day for crabbiness.

"We have a big day," I commented, trying to change the subject, "Are you guys excited?"

In a flash they both perked up remembering what today was.

"Oh yeahhhhh!" Lily shouted excitedly,   "The concert!"

If Kenzie wasn't awake by now, she surely would be.

"I was just looking at the schedule for today." I said as both girls leaned in, "We need to be at the venue at one o'clock."

"What time is it now?" Kenzie asked slightly panicked, "I need to get ready."

I didn't see her until she was right in front of me, "Good morning."

"Morning."

"It's only about nine so we have plenty of time, don't worry."

"I'm hungry." Lily announced loudly.

"Is everyone else hungry too?"

The answer was a resounding 'YES' so I figured there were three options. We could get ready first then grab a bite to eat, put whatever on and run down to the restaurant in the hotel or order room service again.

Laying the options out to the girls, foolishly I thought there would be some sort of consensus but there wasn't. Each wanted to do something different and it was starting to cause an argument. I needed to stop thinking this was a democracy.

"Okay, okay," I said, trying to break up the arguing before it got out of hand, "Since you guys can't agree then I'll decide. Go get dressed. We're going to eat at the restaurant here then come back and get ready." I shoo'd them away when they just stood there looking at me, "Go get ready."
