As a young girl, Seraphina Gray Rossi packed up her things at eleven years old to move to a small town on the big island called, Haleiwa, Hawaii. With parents as well respected marine biologists who specialized in the species of bottlenose dolphins...

"Can y'all shut the fuck up already?"
Eleven o'clock in the morning the next day and both Sera and Kaleia had to drag out an extremely hungover Cherry to brunch. It took a solid hour to get her out the door, let alone out of bed which occupied most of the time before they drove over to the Beet Box Café in Haleiwa, Hawaii.
It was brunch time on a late Monday morning whereas the café was full of chatter and commotion as the kitchen worked to make everyone's meals. Every table was packed with ages ranging in all categories, most of them being the returners from university as it was the first week back to the island.
The walls were lined with various shades of cedar wood as paintings and photographs of the ocean and surfing laid on top. Plants were scattered across every table and hung from the ceilings, bringing greenery into the naturally dark room that came to life with it. The ceiling matched an industrial look with black vents and bars covering the majority of it as it hung over everyone's heads.
But in the corner by the front windows sat the girls with their morning iced coffees for Sera and Kaleia, but a hot cup of black coffee for the hungover girl with her sunglasses on indoors. Cherry's head hung low as she sipped on her steaming cup of hangover medicine while groaning at the girls to lower their voices, causing them to roll their eyes.
It was only the girls for this brunch trip as both Jonah and Presley left early to hit the beach with their friends from high school. That didn't bother them though as they took this as their girl time after yesterday's intensely testosterone fulfilled evening at Koa's illegal track.
Having already ordered their meals for the morning, Kaleia and Sera spoke to one another, leaving Cherry out of the question as she felt the urge to kick everyone in the jugular.
"I still can't believe he's back in town y'know." Kaleia said as she leaned back in her chair, putting her feet up on the empty one across from her that sat next to Cherry. "I never thought I'd see his face again."
"Who, Orion?" Sera asked as she took a giant sip of her iced coffee. "What even is that situation anyway? Jonah looked so sadistic when he saw him."
Rolling her eyes, Cherry decided to let herself join in on the conversation. "It is more like the other way around. Orion didn't get the Parent Griller nickname for nothing."
"Why is he even called that? That's so vile." Sera stated as Cherry let out a suggestive chuckle. "Oh don't you dare tell me Jonah came up with that."
"How else do you think it stuck?" Kaleia chipped in.
Sera rolled her eyes, Jonah's words burning in her mind as she replayed last night in her mind. She remembered hearing that name he gave to Orion, and even with the situation already problematic as it was, she wanted to smack him. Sera was a peacemaker, not an instigator, so she wasn't going to tolerate it on either end.
