"Stay like that, Kit."
Silky waves carried her floating form in the current of the water, her body swaying from side to side as her face remained still, gazing into the lens of the camera that rested in his hands. Her arms held onto the longboard that kept her above the sea from the shoulders up, the rest being submerged into the turquoise abyss.
Clicks echoed every second as no flash followed, capturing the image of a young Sera who swayed from side to side, her forest set of hazel eyes telling a story into his lens. Pink lips remained pouted outwards as her doe eyes remained wide with each passing shot.
Ten feet away on his board was here he laid, his camera partially underneath the water as it snapped photos of Sera who became a muse to his soul. Orion couldn't stop his finger from pressing on the shutter button that continuously shot the images of her; a painting turned to life as if the sunset hadn't been more beautiful just hours prior.
No longer was it sunrise, but the mid-morning as the sky was a light baby blue without a cloud in sight. People were slowly showing up more and more as the minutes ticked by, now at least two dozen either in the ocean or on the beach playing with Honey who acted as if she owned it.
On the coastline was the playful dog, yipping and barking as the bystanders gave her the love she craved, even a few snacks that made her day. Sera's eyes glanced over to her goofy dog drenched in the salty sea water, a smile caressing her face as she admired the pup she loved with all her heart.
"Keep smiling like that."
Despite Orion's request, her cheeks immediately tinted a dark shade of pink, her face ducking down as the smile was replaced by a bashful expression, shyness overcoming the young blonde. Even at this moment, he continued his actions of multiple photos a second, capturing a moment Orion deemed cute in his head.
"You can't tell me to smile, or everything will go tits up!" Sera laughed over at Orion who wore a grin on his face.
He laid hidden behind his camera as he floated with the current, hiding the smile he had for Sera who continued her bashful expressions. Her doe eyes were clenched shut as she laughed again, her gaze falling upon Honey who managed to flip over in the water but quickly recover by acting as if it was on purpose.
As she continued to laugh, Orion swam closer and closer, his body dragged along the longboard attached to his ankle as he wanted to get a closer shot of Sera in her natural state. Blonde hair slicked back as stray strands fell over her tanned, bare face, touching her lightly freckled nose that had spent too much time in the sun.
The closer he got, the more he noticed the littlest of details like the small beauty marks dotting her neck that eventually scattered all over her body. Its darkness contrasted with her skin but laid against her smooth skin as if it was meant to be there.
