"Can you stop hijacking the waves, Kal?!"

Laughter echoed in the ocean as Kaleia rode her wave at Waimea Bay, annoying Jonah who kept getting outshined by the natural pro herself. Sat on Cherry's board as they floated in the water, Sera straddled it with her bed friend, watching on as both of the boys and Kaleia took on the impending waves at the beach.

Everyone drenched in salt enjoyed the peaceful afternoon, a beautiful day in sunny Hawaii as everyone was either laying on the beach or enjoying the relaxing water at the shore. Even people mostly teenagers were jumping off of the low rise rock formations to cool off from the heating sun as the seconds ticked by. It was the norm for everyone who lived here, a paradise.

Even making a surprise appearance was Sera's dog, Honey, who wanted to tag along on today's adventures. The red golden retriever was receiving plenty of love from the children in the area, playing with them in the water as Sera barely looked on, trust her pup and the people around her. With no parents' home for the day as they would be at the sanctuary until late at night, Sera took it upon herself to haul the pup with her on one of the many adventures she loved to have.

"Can you stop being such a little sissy when it comes to sucking at surfing?" Kaleia shot back as she paddled on her board to be next to Cherry and Sera.

"I don't suck! You're just a wave whore." Jonah deadpanned as Presley came up beside him, flipping his board in the process.

Everyone began laughing as Jonah went plummeting back into the water from his board. It was even funnier when his head bobbed up, anger in his eyes as he splashed everyone who looked on with annoyance. With a huff, he flipped his board back over before getting back on and shoving Presley.

"What the fuck was that for?"

"Stop being such a sissy about sucking at surfing," Presley said with a shrug of his shoulders which made Kaleia a smile at him, causing the buzzed male to cheer at himself silently.

"Anyways...I'm gonna go check on Honey before she becomes waterlogged. I don't need her throwing up from the salt water like last time." Sera said as she slid off Cherry's board before swimming over to her dog that still played with young children at the shore.

She smiled as she let the waves carry her petite body until she made it over to where Honey was, enjoying life in the sun and ocean. Children continued to chase her and throw her green tennis ball for her to fetch in which she happily did time and time again, even when exhaustion was starting to hit.

"Alright, alright guys. Honey needs a break." Sera said with a laugh as she whistled to Honey who came charging her way with a goofy grin and her tongue flopped out of her mouth. "Come on, girl. Let's go get you dry and some water."

Without a leash, Sera began walking up the sandy beach and towards the back where the shade and her belongings laid with Honey quickly following behind. Honey was a well-trained dog by both Sera and her parents. She never needed a leash in public, always following and never straying. Honey thought of Sera as the master, the one in charge out of everyone in her small family, so it caused her never to worry. The loyalty and trust was there to build their never-ending relationship.
