"C'mon Honey bun, the girls are waiting."
With her bag slung over her shoulder as she locked the house with her yellow painted key, Sera and Honey trotted down the long, cascading staircase that eventually brought them to Cherry's giant jeep that was roaring with loud music. Sera rolled her eyes as she got closer, her flip flop clad feet clicking against her driveway as she opened the back door.
With all her strength she wrapped her arms around Honey who was too short to jump into the large jeep all on her own, so Sera lifted her up, placing her on the chair before pulling herself in and shutting the door with a thud. She huffed as she sat down, feeling winded from just lifting her seventy-pound dog with a mane of fur feeling like an extra twenty pounds.
Once in the car Cherry decided to lower the volume to her loud playlist congested with music before turning away from the steering wheel to look at the blonde with a happy grin. "it's been two days and we don't even get a hello?!"
Sera rolled her eyes again. "I think you survived since Kaleia told me you met up with Tanner the other night."
"I-I hate you, Kal." Cherry said in a playfully annoyed tone. "But c'mon, the opportunity was there!"
"Yeah and the last time the opportunity was there you felt nothing and you couldn't walk for days because you were trekking the Sahara Desert." Kaleia added causing all the girls to burst out into laughter.
"Oh fuck off both of you, okay?! This isn't about me! This is about interrogating little miss bad ass for going off with Orion." Cherry winked before facing her wheel again and putting her car in reverse before backing out of Sera's driveway and onto the main road.
"Like I told you both, nothing happened. He just took me home. All he wanted to do was piss Jonah off." Sera grumbled as she rolled down the window for Honey to stick her head out of. "I mean; I was pissed at Jonah at that point too so I took the opportunity."
"But Sera, the kid is a creep." Kaleia said making Sera want to scream out in frustration because those words should had been meant for someone else.
Sera knew the truth behind the entire situation, causing herself to want to lash out and spill her guts but she knew she couldn't. It ate at her slowly though, the punishment she must endure due to her time spent exceptionally well with Orion. She guessed her other punishment was dealing with the head of Jonah's crotch rather than the head above his body. She knew how he was, after all they grew up together, but it didn't excuse the excessive, inappropriate behavior he'd show towards her.
Still, no one knew of that night with Jonah over at Koa's party. The only people who knew were Orion and Koa, the two people who held no significance in her little family of friends. If only it were someone like Kaleia, everyone would know. She held no bias over anyone and only stood up for the truth. It's why Sera would feel conflicted with Cherry at times, not because she made her mad, but because she was Jonah's sister. Her loyalty would secretly be to him. Almost the same went for Presley as he was Jonah's best friend since birth.
