Forgiveness

This has just been on my mind and I wanted to share it with all of you.

You know how God says he has forgiveness and forgives all of our sins? Yes, of course, everyone knows that.

What if I were to ask you that? Do you have forgivenesses for everyone around you? For all that they have done for you? The answer will most likely be no or should be no for all of us. Why is that though? Why is it to easy for God to forgive everyone, than for us to. It would be because we are human and all we think about is ourselves. We never think about someone's backstory and what they have been through, before we judge. Or before they do one bad thing that wrongs us.

Now I want you to think of one person and of what they have do or did do to wrong you. Is that in your head?
Good, now keep it there. You need to let your mind think about that and then think about it from God's perspective. How would he guide someone from their wrong doings? He judges us in love, because Jesus has forgiven us of all our sins.

So I guess what I am trying to say in this chapter is we need to forgive more. We can't go around holding grudges and saying we love Jesus, because that is just being a hypocrite. Whenever you feel the urge to hold a grudge or not forgive someone think about it from God's perspective. How would he view that person and how do you view them differently from him?

Dear God,
Please help for me to me slow to judge and hold a grudge this week. Help for me and everyone to see the judgement from your eyes. How do you see judgement and how can we become more like you is the eternal question. Please help for me and all of us to become more like you, in no judgement or sins. We know that Jesus forgave all of our sins, so help for us to not judge. Help for us to know that He took away the shame and judgement from this world. We were the ones that brought it back.
In your son's name I pray,
Amen.
