Out of the depths I call to you, Lord! Lord listen to my voice; let your ears be attentive to my cry for help. - Psalm 130:1-3

This verse was given to me after I asked God to show it to me. Now that might sound simple enough, just pray to God and he will show you a verse. But the thing is about this verse is that I needed it.

In the past few days I have been struggling with anxiety and just being in my head to much. I talked to a few people and it kinda helped, but it never went away. So I texted one of my friends and I just asked her to pray for me. She said would but she did so much more than that. She gave me encouragement and told me to really pray to God.

So I did, I prayed to God with all my heart and poured my anxieties out to Him. It was good to pray to him and let him know of all of that, just asking him to rid me of all of my junk. He did and I felt that burden off of my shoulders. So, then during my prayer I asked him to lead me to passage of scripture I needed to hear. He flipped me to this one and at first I was like what is this? But then I read it and realized I needed this.

To me this verse means to not be ashamed to cry out to God. He wants us to cry out to Him, he ready to hear our prayers and our worries in our lives. I feel like he not only wants us to pour out to him, but to other Christian people. We need to surround ourselves with those Christian people who will lift us up.

Just lift your prayers up to God and lift those worries up to him. He has got your back and he will also be there for us.

Dear God,
Please be with me tonight and with my mind. Help for the anxiousness and worry to just go away. I know that you can take away all of this in your name and power. You have the ability to give us just what we need, like the right bible verse. I know this chapter was all over the place but help for someone to talk one part out of it. Help for us all to understand one part of this and just know you are for us, so who could be against us.
In your sons name I pray,
Amen.
