The Passage That Spoke To Me

Now ever since this new season has started I haven't been in my bible much and haven't really studied it. I have read my plans in my bible app but that just wasn't enough for me, that wasn't truly getting to the word for me.

The passage that spoke to me was Luke 2:49 and it reads: "Why were you searching for me?" He asked. "Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house?"

Now moments before I read that verse I asked God to speak to me through what he wanted to show me. I flipped open my bible and I know that he guided me towards this verse and this section. God I feel is an ironic God and placed that question in my life for a reason.

Now "in my Father's house" doesn't mean visiting God or going up to Heaven. I feel like in this context it means getting to church and getting into it, getting into my Bible more and being in constant prayer with God.

I may have been in a slump but I don't want to be anymore. I want to be in his Word more than on Wednesday's and Sunday's. I know this chapter wasn't me explaining some verse, but me explaining how a verse was used in my life. It tells how the Bible can be used to helps and God is with us. Just open your bible and pray that He will guide you in the words you are about to read. God will take it from there and something magical will happen in your life, I guarantee it.
