Love them anyway. - Luke 23:34

Love is a powerful word, a word that can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. It could mean love towards a significant other, a family member, an animal or even an object. Love according to Google means a intense feeling of deep affection. A feeling so deep we can't explain it, now we like about that way with relationships. But what if we thought about love in the way that Jesus saw it.

Jesus sees love as loving your neighbor as yourself, no matter who that could be. Your neighbor could be the homeless man you pass by on the streets, the single mother trying to find a babysitter, a teacher just trying to get through all of her class work or a student struggling to get into a good school. All of those situations are different in many ways, expect one. The similarity is Jesus and Him seeing us through a lens of love.

Jesus loves all of us equally and thinks of us equally. Society might not, Jesus does and that is all that matters. Now what I'm trying to say is that we need to be more like Jesus. We need to love everyone and to love them. Love the them or the neighbors in your life. No matter who they are or what they are going through, there is always something we can do to help. Jesus wants us to show him and love is one big way we can show him. Just try to show Jesus one time today in your lives, be the Jesus someone needs.,

Dear God,

Please help for me to know that I can be the Jesus in other people's lives. That I can help people and be there for them. Let none of us forget that we can show love to others, we just need the right point of view. You are that right point of view, no matter the situation. Help for all of us to have a Jesus love type of view.

In your son's name I pray,
Amen.
