Why do we act like we don't know God in our daily lives? Is it so we can be cool and not called a loser?
Do you know Christians like that or are you that Christian? I know I have been there for sure. Wanting to fit in and feel "cool", because that is just what you do in school. That is how you fit in with your peers, but that isn't what God wants us to do.
God wants us to stand out and not blend in. He wants to not be like the world, but to be greater than the world. You see the world is darkness and we are the light of God. We shouldn't let the darkness swallow up the light, we should shine in the darkness. It doesn't matter what other people think in this world, but what God thinks.
So, whenever you think about other people's opinions, don't. They don't matter and shouldn't. I mean are people really going to be talking about what you did on April 24th at 10:03 am in Biology class? I don't think so and you shouldn't either.
Don't become a why, or just a Wednesday and Sunday Christian. Be an everyday Christian and let your light shine daily. God doesn't want lukewarm Christians, but full in Christians. Be a full on Christian for Him and don't care what others think.
Dear God,
Please help for everyone to not just be a Wednesday and Sunday Christian. Help for us to shine our light for you in this world daily. Help to also not fall into the trap of this world, but for us to fall in the trap of your love.
