He voice was calming and warm. And his scent was intoxicating, mint and chocolate. He promised not to hurt me but how can I be so sure?

'He's our mate that's how' Onyx encouraged.

'Yeah I know but he's still wolf and wolfs kidnaped me and beat me'

'But our mate will protect us. Elena please for me' Onyx begged.

'Ok fine because I love you and trust your judgement' I said nervously.

As he stepped into this box I fought my instinct to fight and flee. I stared into his eyes, I was still very unsure about this but I trust my horse. He let out a breath of relief, he put his hand out and I spooked but calmed down when I realized that he was going to hit me.

I reached my nose out to his hand and sparks when flying through my body when we touched. Our eyes locked together and it seemed like they would never unlock.

"Ash are you in here" a high pitched women voice called through.

Ash, as I know know his name, grunted and rolled his eyes. "Yes Amber I'm here"

A girl turns the corner and strutted towards Ash. Not trusting her I back away from Ash and started pawing the ground and pined my ears back.

"What's wrong with it" she snarled. Ash turned out of my stall and closed the door.

"She doesn't seem to like you" he said flatly.

"Nonsense all horses love me. See watch" she walked toward the stall door, opened the door and walked in. She must be mentally stupid to think I would let her anywhere near me. She stuck her hand out which scared me so I did what I'm instincts told me. I reared and stroked my hooves at her hitting her hand.

She winced in pain and scrambled out of the stall. Ash again rolled his eyes and helped her up then closed my door.

"Your an idiot. Do you not know how to read a horses behavior!? Your father is the best horse trainer, has he not taught you anything" he screamed at her. I was still in a frenzy, pawing at the ground.

"That horse is insane you should just shoot it" she pouted. "Now come on how about you make me feel better"

The way she was talking to my mate pissed me off even more. I so want to kill her right now. I reared again showing my displeasure.

"No Amber never in a million years I have already told you I'm waiting for my mate unlike you" Amber huffed and stormed out.

Ash looked at me and sighed, giving me a soft smile. "I'll be right back"

I was left alone in the dark waiting for the return he promised. I really hope that he will accept us as his mate seeing as I am a horse shifter and not a werewolf. Though he hasn't shown signs of not wanting me which makes me fell better. When he returned he had something in his hands.

"Shift I brought you some clothing" he said and laid the clothing in the door. I was hesitant as whether or not to shift but did so anyways. After I shifted I took the pice of clothing from the door and slid it over my head.
