Chapter 14

*Elena*

Sitting on the couch in Ash's office I kept thinking about the prophecy. Why is there a war coming up? How am I the one who's supposed to stop it? Many questions flew through my mind.

"Penny for your thoughts" Ash asked as he stood from his chair and walked over to the couch.

"No I'm just in a different world " I shrugged. He picked me up and placed me in his lap.

"Well how about I take your mind off everything and take you out to dinner"

"Ok sounds good" I said while leaning more into him. He put is head in the crock of my neck and took in my scent

"Alright I'll come and get you in a couple hours, Bella wants to see you so I'll let you go and you two can do what ever you two do. She'll meet you in our apartment."

"Ok I'll see you in a couple hours then" I said getting up and giving him a peck in the lips.

He growled and spun me around, smashing his lips on mine. I was surprised at first and didn't know what to do but instincts took over and I kissed back. His tongue danced around my mouth. I intertwined my hands into his hair wanting more of him. He broke apart from the kiss and I pouted.

"Don't worry love there'll be more where that came from later" he smiled and kissed the top of my head.

I nodded my head and left the room to go and meet Bella. I'm getting used to the elevator so it doesn't scare me as much now. When it stopped and the door opened I saw that Bella was already up here sitting on the couch.

"Well finally Iv been waiting for ever" she stood and put her hands on her hips. I laughed.

"It's only been about 8 minutes" I corrected her.

"Ok fine but still"

I rolled my eyes playfully "So have you found out anything else about my daughter"

"No Iv been searching for weeks and still can't find anything. It's like there is no record of her being born and if there is then someone must have covered it up really well."

Bella is a really good computer hacker. She can hack into any file or computer that she wants to. She was kidnapped when she was 15 by the same pack that kidnapped me and they forced her into hacking into other packs systems. She got caught by this pack and they arrested her. Damon went to the cells to interrogate her and that's how they met.

"Have you told Ash yet"

"No but he wants to take me out tonight so I'm going to tell him then"

She nodded her head. "So what are you going to wear"

"I don't know I was going to throw something on"

"No no come with me and I'll make him want to rip those cloths right off your smoking hot body" she grabbed my hand and dragged me into mine and Ash's room.

About an hour later Bella had my hair curled, makeup done, and me dressed in a blue dress. I had to admit I didn't look good.

"Bella what if we're going somewhere that you dress I don't know less like this"

"Nope I know where your going and this is total appropriate" she smiled. "Ok well we still have..oh...half an hour maybe, so that leaves us sometime for me to show you what I found."
