*Elena*

"Alpha and Luna Reed the council will now see you" a man in a black robe walked into the room.

'Luna Reed?' I mine linked Ash 'we aren't married'

'We don't have to be married. Werewolves only get married to blend in with the humans. Being marked in werewolf society is the same as getting married in human society' Yes Ash had marked me. He said it would help the council to favor with us, but I knew that it was just an excuse to mark me.

*flashback*

Ash and I just finished putting the bed together and putting all the cloths and toys away in what would be Lilly's new room. I looked around satisfied at how everything looked.

She had her bed in the corner, a vanity, a medium sized dresser and a toy chest filled with all the toy Bella and I got the other day.

"Elena there is one thing that you need to know"

"Ok"

"As of right now Lilly is Cody's only child and the heir to his pack. So that means the council will be taking that into consideration and might say that she can't come with us until and unless he has another child."

"But that's not even fair he has his mate right? Can't they just produce another heir"

"Yes but they could say the same thing to us seeing as we are mates as well"

"Well then how are we going to get them to give her to us"

"Well just because we're mates doesn't make her a heir to the pack unless I mark you. After I mark you you become the Luna to this pack, well almost at least. Since you weren't born to this pack there needs to be a coronation to officially make you Luna. Now we could just do with the mark but with you officially being the Luna it will make Lilly the only heir to this pack"

"Ok but I though a heir could only be of Royal blood"

"Yes but Alphas of a Royal family can only be mates to another Royal and since we're mates that make you a Royal and makes Lilly have Royal blood in her"

"Ok then let's do it" I said

"Elena I don't want this to be the only reason you want me to mark you. I want to mark you for this reason and also for the reason that I love you very much and want everyone to know that your mine."

"Ash I nearly died because I was trying to find you a couple of weeks ago and if I didn't love you and wanted you to mark me I would have shifted and ran off long ago"

He slightly smiled "well I'm glad that you didn't so"

I shook my head and he lead do and kissed my lips. It was soft and sweet. But it turned heated and passionate quickly. We broke apart and he trailed kiss down my next line. He went to the same spot a couple of time before he sunk his teeth in. It hurt at first but I soon faded into pleasure.

We now stood before the council men and their mates. They all looked very intimidating, sitting high on there pedestals with there silky white robes and strait faces.
