Chapter 25

*Elena*

Alarms were going off everywhere. This was not a drill, it was the actual thing. The war had begun.

Warriors where out side fighting the enemies. Women, children, and everyone else who wasn't fighting headed to the underground safe houses quickly.

Howls, barks, growls and other sounds could be heard all around. Dead bodies already laid in pools of blood. It was no doubt that were fights brutal.

The enemies out numbered our warriors greatly. How Cody managed to get this many involved I have no idea and I really don't care to know. But with the Royal packs advanced fighting skills the fight was pretty even.

The whole yard was chaos. Wolves where running around everywhere. I couldn't tell what to do. Where I should jump in first.

I tried looking for Cody's wolf, but couldn't find him. If I was able to take him out first then this would all be over quickly.

I saw one of my pack members struggling with 3 other wolves much larger than theirs. I ran over there and helped her out by snapping ones neck. It distracted the other two long enough for her to gain back her control.

It's been hours since the fight has started. The sun is now just starting to rise. Almost all of the enemies have been neutralized. We had only few casualties within all the Royal packs.

Something felt very off about everything though. If felt like something saw about to go wrong.

And then I heard it. A little girl calling for here mommy. But it wasn't just any little girl it was Lilly.

My head shoot up in the direction where I heard my daughter. I saw, off in the distance, Cody. He was holding Lilly who was crying and calling for me. Cody look at me for a split second and gave a devilish smirk.

I panicked. How did he get to her? She was down in the safe houses. I started to run towards him but he started to run too. I didn't get very far because one of his wolves attacked me. It caught me off guard and knocked me over. More wolves started to pile over me.

I was slowly slipping away. I was suffocating and being ripped into and there was nothing that I could do. I knew that Ash could fell everything that I was feeling. I heard him howl and felt my heart literally break.

Someone had killed Ash. My pain had distracted him from what he was doing. It was the last thing that I heard before I slipped away myself. Darkness consumed me. There was light and I walked into it knowing that is where I was supposed to go.

I shot up from my sleeping position. Sweat covered my body as I panted. I quickly ran out of the room and into Lilly's.

I calmed down when I saw she was sleeping peacefully in her little bed. I heard Ash come up behind me and his touch calmed me more.

"Is everything alright" he asked concerned.

"There coming tonight." Was all I said.

"How do you know that"

"Because I saw it. I get premonitions or visions about the future"
