To see Chaelin on the Vlive App was a rare occurrence. Towards the end of the "Wings" promotions, Chaelin surprisingly did go on Vlive. It was a livestream, ARMY's have remembered since, because for the first time, Chaelin talked about what dying was like and how she felt after her car accident.

"Hi guys," she repeated softly. "I think I'll start streaming in a few minutes, when I feel like there's enough viewers." She continued to read a few comments, sipping on her green tea before she eventually started. "I know I haven't been very active recently. But I didn't feel so good. Promotions are really tiring," Chaelin explained with a smile.
I don't understand but...I'm gay for her Nooo baby please get some rest!!
"My car accident really took me out of it," she said with a sigh.
How did you even survive?
"How did I survive?" Chaelin read with a laugh. "How did I survive?" she repeated in Korean, feeling more confident in sharing her story in her native tongue. "I honestly don't know. It was crazy. But not the good kind. It was...scary." She sighed looking down for a second. "I was very aware of everything happening around me, even if I couldn't do anything," Chaelin told everyone with a solemn voice. "What most don't know is that, I died twice. Once directly after the accident and once after the surgery. That was the actual reason they had put me into a coma. My body couldn't take it. I always thought that I was okay with dying one day, you know? But when it happened twice, I wasn't at peace at all. It was so scary. It's like...I was trying to let go and there was this part of me that knew it was okay to go," A smile made it's way back onto her face, "And then there was another part of my brain going like 'Don't let go no matter what you do.' After I came out of it, I realised how 'wrongly' people thought dying was like. No matter what you do, you can't go 'peacefully'." She then struggled to find the right words.
