It was a normal day for Chaelin and having nothing to do, no comeback preparations, no practise, no training.... So she decided to visit EXO at SM, who were preparing for a comeback. Quietly arriving at the building, she walked inside, showing her ID before proceeding to the training rooms. According to Chanyeol, they were in one of the last rooms, so she walked the entire corridor, before entering a dance studio. Only not EXO were in there, but NCT. The entire lot. "Uhh..." Chaelin stuttered. "Hi!" she heard Jisung happily exclaim. The boys‚ seemed to be practising, all of them sweaty and looked at her with curiosity and smiles. "I...I am sorry to interrupt I was actually looking for the EXO guys-" "They're in the room next to ours," Taeyong told her. "Oh. Thank you." "Can't you stay with us?" Jaemin asked her with a pout. "Pleaseeeee." Haechan jumped in. "Guys," Ten told them, "she's here to visit our Sunbaenims, not us." "Well, I mean if you want me to stay, I guess I can for a while." "Yay!" the dreamies shouted and practically ran towards her, whilst the rest of them only looked down ashamed. It was common knowledge that NCT were huge fanboys of Chaelin, especially the NCT Dream unit. Though of course everyone knew she was taken, they didn't really stop at openly confessing how much they loved her as an artist. She very quickly gave them permission to call her "Noona"-despite how much she hated that honorific. Mostly because she enjoyed being the baby and if she was older then ...well she obviously wasn't the baby. 

The boys of NCT U showed her their upcoming comeback choreography "Boss", even receiving some tips as to how look more confident whilst performing, having had loads of practise through being in BTS. "The song is awesome," Chaelin told them, "makes me really excited to see how you're going to be doing on digital charts. Anyway, all of you are going to debut together right?" "Yeah," Lucas answered. They took some pictures together, which they'd later post and she even practised a little Mandarin with the Chinese members of NCT, because she would be soon having a few stages in China and wanted to do her best for Chinese ARMY's. "You're doing very well," WinWin told her. "Ah thank you," she blushed. "Have you been practicing for long?" Lucas asked her. Shaking her head "no" she told them: "I knew a little from my trainee days and we recorded a few of our songs in Chinese once but I only recently started to practice again." 

"Noona!" Jisung suddenly wailed. All of them turned around and saw the boys of NCT Dream around him, Jisung on the floor, holding his ankle and tears streaming down his face. "Motherly instincts" kicking in, she rushed towards the young boy. "Aw what happened?" she asked him, stroking his cheeks and wiping his tears away. "He stumbled and next thing we know he started crying." "My foot hurts," Jisung whimpered. "Let me have a look at it." She slowly removed his hands, looking at his ankle, slightly swollen. "Oh no, you should have someone look at this." "Is it broken?" he asked, still whimpering. "I don't know," she told him honestly, "it might just be sprained but you wanna be sure. Hey Taeyong, can you take him to a hospital? And Taeil? Can you tell your manager or someone what happened?" The both of them nodded and walked out, Taeyong helping Jisung get up before walking outside with him.

"I understand why your fans see you as a good mother," Johnny laughed. Chaelin blushed. "Oh hush." "SO THERE YOU ARE!" She suddenly heard the booming voice of Kai. With wide eyes, she turned around, looking at him with a guilty face. "Ah I knew I've forgotten something," she mumbled suddenly. "It's been literally two hours since we've waited for you." "I'm sorry Jongin..." she told him. "Never mind," he said. "Hey you can go with him now," Haechan told her. "Thanks for the time you spend with us today," WinWin added. "No worries," she told them, "Good luck with your comeback. I'll be rooting for you guys." With that, she left the room and followed Jongin to EXO.

At night, when she was back home, cuddling on the sofa with Namjoon, she posted the selfie she took with NCT on twitter with the caption: "Had a wonderful with these guys. Good luck on your upcoming comeback @ nctsmtown"
