IU x Chaelin
Chaelin was the one who approached IU at a Music Show and after they had met up for dinner afterwards, they have been inseparable ever since. Ji-Eun was the big sister Chaelin never had and supported her when she needed a woman to talk to. They always promoted one another tirelessly on SNS and often shared pictures of their "dates". IU always loved Chaelin endlessly and wished her the best for her career. IU and Chaelin also worked on music together but had yet to share it publicly. Something everyone was awaiting.

Girls' Generation's Taeyeon x Chaelin
Taeyeon and Chaelin met through Baekhyun and Suho. Suho, who had taken Chaelin to his birthday party, and Baekhyun, who had taken Taeyeon along with him, had introduced the girls to another and they hit off immediately. Although they were quite far apart in age they had similar interests and acted similar although Chaelin was much more of a child than Taeyeon. Something that didn't bother her at all. She loved Chaelin. After Taeyeon and Baekhyun broke up, Chaelin was the one of comforted her and was also the one who calmed her down when she was receiving hate from Exo-L's and Taeyeon is very thankful for that.

TWICE's Momo x Chaelin
Momo admired Chaelin was was quite vocal about it. She loved Chaelin's voice and her dancing skills. Especially because she kept up with all the boys in her group when she was trained for girl group dances which were much easier. When she was asked if she had ever approached her Momo got all shy and answered "No". Chaelin saw that and approached her in return. They slowly build a causal friendship even through their hectic schedules. They sometimes practised their dancing together.

2ne1's CL x Chaelin
Chaelin ADMIRED CL. Although they were like day and night, Chaelin being a very cutesy, girly girl and CL being a lot more fierce, their friendship was quite strong. CL boosted Chaelin's self-confidence and looked out for her.

F(x)'s Amber x Chaelin
They were introduced by Jackson and didn't really get along at first. Amber was quite different from most girls Chaelin was surrounded by and her attitude confused her. But when Chaelin had received quite a bit of hate after having confirmed the plastic surgery rumours, it was Amber who called her. Having been bashed for her looks as well, she understood what was going through Chaelin and ever since they have gotten along really well. Amber has also introduced Chaelin to many of her friends in the US and whenever they have the chance, they hang out together. Chaelin also appeared in "Shake that Brass".

F(x)'s Luna x Chaelin
They met after Chaelin had visited Taeyeon at SM. Luna saw Chaelin exiting the building and quickly asked her for a picture because she loved her voice. Chaelin of course accepted and they later met again backstage at the MAMA's where they continued to talk. They aren't the closest of friends, but they regularly keep in contact and support the other career wise.

GFRIEND's Eunha x Chaelin
A friendship that goes way back. Eunha and Chaelin tried together during the she was a BigHit trainee before leaving for Source Music. They also shared a room with two other girls in the dorms. Eunha was very surprised when Chaelin told her she wouldn't be debuting solo but in a boyband instead, but thought it might be a good idea and encouraged her to stay. When GFRIEND debuted, Chaelin went to support the girls at their debut stage and even promoted their debut via twitter. The two love to go hang out in the park at Han River, which is sadly not as much of a possibility anymore as it was when they were trainees. But in company of a bodyguard they still sometimes do it, while eating ice cream and chatting about their life.

HyunA x Chaelin
Now Chaelin did not like Hyuna AT ALL-at first. She was pretty preconceived on the idea that for her sexy appearance Hyuna was a slut. Mostly because she was raised in a family where her brothers and father forbid her from even going anywhere near the "sexy" concept. However, when they had starred in a variety show together, she had seen just how adorable and nice Hyuna actually was and shyly talked to her. Hyuna, all in her bubbly nature, happily talked with her and later on even said she was surprised at how adorable the BTS girl actually had been because she too thought that no person in the world could actually be as adorable. Turns out both of them didn't have a great first impression on each other! They now regularly hung out and Hyuna gave Chaelin a few tips on how to be more sexy on stage-Much to Jin's horror. Nevertheless this was a friendship to last.
