CHAELIN as ALICE (sorta)
♡
"I didn't think so many people would actually come..." Chaelin murmured. Namjoon, who had his hand wrapped around her waist laughed. "Princess, it's our engagement party," he told her, "of course so many people would come." She pouted sadly. "Yes but I was hoping to spend a nice evening with our families and close friends," she pointed at the people around them, "not like...every single idol we know. Like isn't a live broadcasted wedding ceremony with literally everyone enough?!" Namjoon sighed. The two had agreed to have a public wedding-a last time fan service, before the two would be husband and wife and their lives a lot more private, despite being in BTS. There were also a lot of rumours as to when they would start their family-but they laid that off until Namjoon was done with the military service. "I know you don't like this as much, princess," he told her, "but it was the boys who planned it so what do you expect. Be grateful it's not chaotic." "Thank god we have a wedding planner," she grumbled and both chuckled. "Imagine the chaos that would ensure if we'd plan it." "I know right?" Chaelin laughed, "like we're so clueless already. I didn't know I needed a bridal emergency kit." Namjoon shrugged his shoulders. "As long as you know you need lingerie on our wedding night..." Chaelin gasped and hit his shoulder lightly to which Namjoon only laughed. "Namjoon!" "What? That's literally the best part. Me getting to wreck you." "You're such a pervert." "Yeah. Forever yours soon." "God help me." The two laughed before the continued to mingle with the guests. At some point, near midnight, Chaelin went out to breath a little. This engagement party surely was exhausting and she dearly hoped her wedding wasn't as bad. The two of them celebrated in a big venue a little outside of Seoul, and luckily, netizens hadn't caught wind of the celebration or the place would've been overflowed with paparazzi. "Oh god where is it now I am going to be late late late!" Chaelin heard someone exclaim. Perking her ears up, she followed the sound the voice, only to find a white rabbit in clothes, jumping out and about with a clock in his hand repeating itself that "it would be late." "No," Chaelin mumbled, "I didn't drink that much." Still, she followed the rabbit, quite deep into a forest, until it reached a rabbit hole-a giant one she might add-and jumped in. Having piqued her interest, Chaelin walked closer and the next thing she remembers is falling.
For along time she was simply falling down and the only thing she could do, was scream until she landed in a great field of flowers. Colourful flowers she had never seen in her life, all so beautiful that she didn't believe they were real. "Oh," she heard, "it seems as if someone is joining us today!" Whipping her head around, she saw a floating table, with the rabbit, a fairy-like women and a crazy looking man with wild hair and a big head around it. "YOU'RE LATE FOR TEA!" the rabbit screamed angrily, causing Chaelin to flinch. "Now, now..." the women told him soothingly, "this is not how we welcome our guests." She stood up and literally looked like she was floating in Chaelin's direction. "Welcome to Wonderland, Chaelin." "W-wonderland?!" the young women stuttered. "I'm in a coma right? Again? Like this is some kind of coma dream because I fell down this hole and now I am going to rot in there and..." "Oh no darling! Why you think that?" the fairy-like women questioned her. "This cannot be real. I must be dreaming." "Well you are dreaming," she told her, "but why would that mean, that it's not real? Come on, have some tea with us." And with that, she led her to the floating tea table, surrounded by the weirdest of creatures. "Mad Hatter the name. And where are you from Chaelin?" "H-how do you know my name?" she stuttered amazed and scared at the same times. "You just look like one," Mad Hatter replied. "I...I am from Seoul." "Seoul?" the rabbit asked, "is it beautiful there?" "I guess...?" "Tweedledum and Tweedledee! Absolem!" Mad Hatter suddenly shouted, "you joining the party?" "YOU'RE LATE!" "What is happening?" Chaelin silently asked herself. "I am sure this must be very confusing to you," the fairy-like lady who still didn't have a name said, "but don't you worry. I am the White Queen by the way!" "Pleased to meet you?" Suddenly two fat and small men joined them at the tea table and a giant caterpillar with it. "Welcome Chaelin," the caterpillar greeted her, "we were awaiting you." "Awaiting me?" "Why of course!" the rabbit said, "we're always waiting guests." "I-I mean that is very...friendly of you but...I need to get home to my fiancé." "Namjoon I presume?" the caterpillar asked. This is it, Chaelin thought, I am officially insane. "I...yes." "Ah don't worry!" The white queen exclaimed, "we'll get you there in no time! But for now; tea!"
Nothing else to do aside from freaking out over how insane this is, Chaelin did join the tea party, which was surprisingly pleasant. Aside from the fact that it was utterly mad and ridiculous and she wondered how her head was able to create such a mess. She learned that Tweedledum and Tweedledee weren't the smartest of people. And that Mad Hatter was actually mad. And that Absolem was some kind of psychic giant caterpillar. And she couldn't decide whether the White Queen was a kind person or mad. Probably both. "Oh, it's getting late," the rabbit exclaimed, "we better get a move on to get you back to your fiancé." They walked her to a cliff, with a wide sea under it. Finally something normal, Chaelin thought. "Just jump in and you'll get straight back into the arms of your future husband!" Tweedledum and Tweedledee told her. "Jump?" Chaelin screeched with wide eyes. "Nothing will happen to you," Mad Hatter reassured her. "Feel free to come visit us soon!" Chaelin only gulped, before walking towards the cliff, taking one last breath and then fell again.
When she woke up, she was literally in the arms of a worried Namjoon, the boys all around them. "Baby are you okay?" He asked her, worry in his voice. "Uh..I guess? What happened?" "You fainted," Hoseok told her. "So I never fell into a rabbit hole?" Silence followed and by the worried looks of the boys, she knew she hadn't. But it felt so...real. "Baby are you sure you're okay? Did you hit your head?" She shook her head. "I'm fine. Come on, let's just...continue with this and then go home." Before she stood up and walked back to the party, reminiscing on what happened.
