CHAELIN ♡ {BTS 8TH MEMBER}

♡ BON VOYAGE LETTERS ♡

Initially, Chaelin wasn't present when the boys were given the task of writing letters to each other, so the production crew gave the boys the task to write one together for her after finishing the individual letters, and Chaelin was supposed to write one for them in return. Once on the private boat they had rented, Chaelin was back. No one knew for sure where she had been but she too, had written a letter to the boys. After hearing the heartfelt letters to one another, it was Chaelin's turn to read hers. They could all see that she was a little disappointed for not receiving a letter, but she smiled and started to read out hers for the boys:

"Bangtan,

When I was first told I would be the female to join, everyone knew I wasn't happy with that. It wasn't because of you, but because i didn't want to be a girl in a group full of boys. To say that our debut times were tough, would be an understatement. The times we got to spend to together, made me treasure you so much and over time, I also grew to love being in BTS. Now, four years later, I can honestly say that I now have an amazing family wherever I go with me. I am so grateful that we never gave up on each other, that we fought for where we are now with our entire being and that we succeeded. There are so many things that I've always wanted to say and didn't because I was scared of being too emotional. And for now, I still can't get them out. But what I will say is that I love all of you from the depths of my heart. I love that we can smile, cry, laugh and fight together and that we only grow stronger whatever is thrown our way. Each and everyone of your has given me so much and I am sorry that I am always the one receiving. Let us all walk a long road of happiness and don't you dare say goodbye until you leave this world. I love you."

Everyone was crying by the time she was finished, including herself. They all hugged each other, before Jin continued reading the letter they wrote for her. They debated who would read it, seeing as Namjoon was her boyfriend and the leader-though the boyfriend part wasn't known at the time of filming. But they all decided Jin should do it, being her brother. "You didn't think we'd forget about you, did you?" Yoongi said upon seeing Chaelin's surprised face when Jin pulled out a final letter. 

"Chaelin,

All of us were surprised, when you were the one joining us. One girl and seven guys sounded strange but that's alright. We still love you. You were so shy and timid when you first came to our dorms and though we knew you didn't want to be in BTS back then, you worked just as hard because you knew what it meant to us. Thank you. Your hardworking spirit and bright smiles continue to empower us every day, and no matter how tired all of us are, you make it a little easier to endure. No matter our problems, you listen and you cheer us up and you never once complain. No matter how hard things are for you. You always put out first, despite being a solo artist next to Bangtan, despite struggling with yourself and despite being undeniably tired sometimes-even if you never admit that. Thank you for staying with us, thank you for loving us and please never change. We love you so much and we can't wait to continue to write our story together."

Chaelin was bawling into Namjoons chest by then, giving them all thankful smiles and the video then cut to the next scene.
