Chapter 27.

"Mmm... No!, what I meant is that Ashton left that rose to you, it is for you" I explained, but the Shrew was kicking in my stomach screaming "IT'S MINE, MINE, JUST MINE!!!" But I had to put ver away,

"He did it?" ver fearures changed again, they changed to a soft expression, she streched out her hand and grabbed it putting it close to her nose and smelling it's sweet aroma "he is so cute, I have to put it into water" she raised from her spot in the couch and walked to the kitchen.

She filled a glass with water and put the rose in it.

"So tell me, how was your day with Michael?" she asked me.

"It was great" I answered in a computarized tone.

"You say it like you didn't enjoy it" her voice became louder as she came closer to me.

"No, I'm tired that's all!" I smiled "you know me"

"It's not fair, you know?" she sighed.

"What isn't fair?" I asked confused.

"That I can't spend much time with you. God!, you're my best friend, and we barely talk!, I have my job and I'm also with Ashton" she complained.

"But Shar, we live in the same apartment, just as we planned when we were kids, remember?"

"Yes" she smiled "but still I don't see you that much, it's not fair"

"We still have Sunday's" I shrugged.

"One day of seven Dawn!" she snorted.

"I'd like to spend more time with you Shar; just like when we were little girls, but we're not those little girls anymore; you've got your job and you're with Ashton, but at least we get to share this place, and that's what matters" I reassured her.

"I fell so lucky!, you know why?" she sighed again "I have the best friend in the whole world, and the most handsome boyfriend on the planet" she added happily.

I didn't know why I felt guilty when she called me "The best friend in the whole world" and jealous when she said "The most handsome boyfriend on the planet"

I smiled at her and held her tight, yes, there was a best friend and that was her.

"I gotta go to bed Shar" I said.

"Oh no!" Sharon complained like a little girl "you're not having dinner with me?"

"No, sorry I'm tired"

"But you've let me alone almost every night, Please make me company" she gave her puppy face, and I acceded to her wish.

I looked across the room, and I saw the few stars on the sky, and I counted them, I looked then at my wrist watch, it was almost 1:40 am, and I still couldn't sleep.

I covered myself with the sheets and rolled on the bed, I couldn't ignore the Shrew any longer, her thoughts were the same as mine the most of the time, but there was this lonely thought in the darkest corner of my mind that told me that I couldn't fall in love with Ashton, it was so untouchable like the fire beneath the pan, or unbreakable like a law, he was my best friend's boyfriend and I had to step back all the steps I had walked.

And after a long hour of meditating I finally fell asleep.

His smile reached my eyes, we were SO close, his smile was day to pretty to use it, but he was giving it to ME, only me, making lots of butterflies flutter all over my stomach, he touched my band and it felt like touching a cloud, my heartbeat acelerated when he put my name on his lips, I was smiling right now.

"Does anybody else make you feel this way?" he asked me with his velvet voice.

It was the first night I dreamt with him, with Ashton. I sighed with my face on the pillow, I raised my head from it and some strands of my hair fell over my face. Today was Saturday, I remebered, and I got to the conclussion that I had to tell this to somebody, if not I would explode sooner or later.

I got up from my bed, and organized my room in half an hour, I dressed up in my favourites ripped skinny jeans an All Time Low singlet and black vans.

When I was done I typed Luke's phone number, who better than him to understand this madness.

"Hello?" he answered from the other side of the line.

"Hi Lukey, hey, can we meet today?" I asked nervously.

"Yeah, sure just tell me when and where" he agreed.

"In the Plaza, in an hour, it's that Ok with you?

"Totally perfect, but can I ask why?" he said curiously.

"I'll tell you when I see you"

I ended the phone call, the taxi took at least 40 minutes to get to The Plaza, I paid him with the money Shar had left for me on the table.

I hopped out of the car and walked into the crowd, and I found a bench to sit, empty casually like it was waiting for me.

I started to think while waiting for Luke to come; he had become one of my best friends we always told everything about each other and this wouldn't be an exception to that rule, I was going to tell him everything even admit that his brother had me atracted.

15 minutes later he appeared in the crowd, his black sweater and his blonde hair made him stand out from the rest of the people there.

"Luke! Here!" I yelled waving at him and he localized me instantly.

Some people looked at me confused Like they have never heard someone speaking in English, I shrugged a little embarassed.

But still Luke came to me.
