"She's bold with all these games and stuff," he said, but as minimum as that comparison was it hurt. "but the fun with you is when you beg me not to get you in them and then I convince you, and when everything stops you mutter profanities I would rather not repeat in front of kids," he laughed. "that's fun."

I couldn't help but laugh along. His was laugh wasn't just a beautiful sound, but a laugh that makes you want to laugh too.

"It's getting late," I said, checking the time. "we have to go back,"

"Time flies when you're having fun." he said helping me up from the bench, making our way to his Hybrid, getting back to reality.

"So fast, you don't see when things happen," I said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear it. Also giving it a double meaning.

"That's true." he agreed.

We hopped in the car, and memories floated in my mind, it was like this seat was telling me all the things I haven't said when I sat in it. The silent memories made me smile, but Ashton seemed to see it.

"Why are you smiling?" he asked turning the car alive. His voice bringing back to reality.

"Because... I..." I forced myself to look for words -Damn it Dawn think!- "I remembered when I was the last time I had fun like tonight, thanks Ash,"

The corners of his lips raised until the formed a beautiful smile.

"I'm glad you had fun Dawnie."

I nodded and mouthed a "thanks" and turned my head to look out the window. My heart was beating faster and faster, he was just so close to me. The thought caused me goosebumps, maybe it was guilt, or worry, maybe both.

But what was bad with this? My only crime was had fallen in love with Ashton, he was the wrong person to keep my heart, his name should be in a manual of the forbidden, in the first page with bold letters where you can read "Danger". I rephrased my question, a bad thing would be if I took him from Sharon, but the truth is I wish I could, and even when I didn't had the intentions, wishing to do it like I did was bad enough. Really.

"Would you mind if I made a stop?" he asked, breaking the silence that had unconsciously formed.

"Of course not," I muttered, after all it would mean spending more time with me, I would not say no to that gift.

"Great. I want to say hi to a friend, today is his birthday, I promise I won't take long," he parked in an almost empty street, hopping out of the car and running to open my door, helping me out.

"Come with me," he asked me, closing the door, and I nodded hypnotised by his voice.

We walked a little further and I saw we were reaching a bar-café or at least that was what I understood from the neon letters outside of the establishment. I stopped walking and so did Ashton.

"Oh, don't worry Dawn, the people is nice here,"

"Have... You ever..."

"No! If you meant drinking, I don't,"

Relieve ran through my veins. I hated alcohol in every presentation it existed, it made people numb, and stupid, and it had also killed my parents, indirectly.

Ashton took my hand in his, making me feel safe, but walking in this bar, to me, it felt like getting on the rollercoaster once again, or even worse.

We walked in and the sound of electronic music blasted loudly through the speakers, sweaty drunk people danced one against another like their lives depended on it, this reminded me of the clubs back in Sydney, but this was nicer.

We made our way through the sea of people and walked to the counter.

"Gaspare, mio amico, un piacere di vederti!" yelled Ashton trough the sound of music. ("Gaspare, my friend, so good to see you!")

The guy cleaning the glasses behind the bar looked at us at the sound of Ashton's voice.

"Ashton, che piacere vederti qui!" the guy said, he was tall, with dirty blonde hair, grey eyes with a hint of blue in them to die for, and deliciously pink lips, a total European beauty if you asked me. ("Ashton, what a pleasure to see you here!")

He left what he was doing and walked over to us, he propped himself up with his elbow on the bar to hug Ashton.

"Non poteva mancare il tuo compleanno," said Ashton still embracing him. ("I couldn't miss your birthday,")

"Oh, quanti dettagli di parte tua," said the guy, smiling thankful. ("Oh, it's such a big detail coming from you,")

Ashton's beautiful smile spread across his lips, and the guy finally payed attention to me, his curious eyes traveled through my features, which made me blush.

"Che è questa bella ragazza?" he asked, and from the little thing I could understand he was talking about me. ("Who's this beautiful girl?")

Ashton's smile grew wider, God! How much I hated not to know Italian!

"È il migliore amica di Sharon, è venuto a vivere con lei por un po'. Ti farò conoscere, ma non parla italiano," Ashton looked at me with... Affection? "Gaspare this Dawn, Dawn this is Gaspare." ("It's Sharon's best friend, she came to visit and is living with Sharon for a while, I want you to meet her, but she doesn't speak Italian,")
