Jungkook x Sana : Coffee

This was the table where he met her, exactly 2 years ago.

Jungkook sat in a café that was well-known, yet hard to find. It didn't have many people inside but was still considered a very popular hub.

He sat at a booth near the window with a view of the outside.

There, he saw a wall covered in vines as the café was at the end of an alley. Not much passed through the alley unless they were there to grab a drink.

In front of him was a cup of his favorite coffee. He always went here after a long day of school. His friends weren't with him the past month as all of them seemed to be hooked up with someone.

His best friend, Taehyung, had been dating the longest. He was in a relationship with this beautiful girl from Taiwan named Tzuyu. She didn't seem too approachable but Taehyung eventually gets to everyone.

Then there was his friend Jimin, who met a girl named Dahyun in one of his classes. After some back and forth chatting, the two eventually ended up together.

Jungkook sighed as he stuck a spoon into the cup, ruining the design on the top of his drink.

"Why can't love be as easy as that for me?" he thought to himself.

"Excuse me"

He turned around to see a girl standing before him, holding a drink in her hand as well. She smiled at him, showing off her chubby cheeks, to which had resembled a squirrel. She had long brown hair and was dressed very casually. By the time of her voice, Jungkook could tell she was a foreigner.

He was dumbstruck by her beauty.

"Is this seat taken?" she asked pointing out the seat next to him.

He shook his head, unable to properly form words.

She sat next to him as she took a sip of her coffee. She placed the cup down on the table and continued to look out the window at the vineyard wall with him. The two sat in silence as the time passed by. No words were spoken for 5, maybe 10 minutes? Jungkook slipped a glance of the girl next to him and squinted his eyes.

He recognized her.

"Sana, right?"

She jumped a bit in her seat as he suddenly broke the silence, eliciting a slight giggle from him.

"Yeah. Jungkook, right?" she asked back.

He nodded.

"Where are the two boys you always hang around?" she asked. 

He dropped his shoulders before responding.

"They're with their girlfriends all the time. I don't wanna bother asking them to hang out right now," he said with a hint of disappointment in his voice.

She pouted as she saw his expression change.

"I know how that feels... but hey, you don't have to be stuck here by yourself. Now you can be stuck here with me!"

Jungkook looked at her in amazement. They had hardly said their first words to each other and she's already acting as if they've been close friends for a while. Of course, he didn't actually mind.

The two sat in the café and talked for a couple of hours, with about 30 people coming in and out of the place within that time frame. They shared laughs as well as stories about each other and their friends. They hadn't even realized that it was already dark out by the time they had stopped talking.

The door to the café opened as Taehyung and Jimin walked inside.

"Jungkookie!"

Sana and him turned to face his friends, devilish smirks present on their faces. Sana stood up from here seat and patted Jungkook on the back.
