Chapter Twenty Five.

It had been a month since I had last seen Ben's face, a month since I sent Josiah to my pack to help Ben with the search. I was honestly beginning to lose hope, I was scared something bad had happened to both of them; I mean I felt Ben due to the bond but we could rarely talk and I missed him terribly. I just wanted to see his smiling face and have him hold me.

The pregnancy was getting harder and harder to hide, my clothes were getting tighter and if you looked close enough you could see the outlining of a belly. I was puking almost every morning and I knew Clayton and his guards were getting suspicious. I was scared of what would happen when the belly got too big to hide; Clayton always had me wearing clothes that improved my assets. I knew one day that it would be the downfall of me.

I was currently making myself breakfast; Clayton had finally cracked after I had not eaten for about a week. Clayton thought I was going to starve myself so he let me cook whenever I wanted but refused to eat my food, he was scared I would poison it. He was probably right, if I had the chance I would poison him and then run.

I was finished cooking my bacon and eggs and was about to sit down when I got a whiff of the smell. It smelled awful and made bile rise in my throat, rushing towards the nearest bathroom I heaved up everything that I had in me. Clayton tried to help me but I kicked the door shut in his face. It had taken me a week to get used to the floor plan; this was a different place than the one I had been taken to before.

The place was like a huge mansion, it had many rooms due to all the people he made live with him. It had only one kitchen though, but the kitchen was huge! The house had multiple bathrooms a few dining rooms; I was rarely allowed to eat in the one where everyone else ate. Clayton was running a coven and everyone thought that I was his mate even though I tried to explain that I wasn't nobody believed me. Only the girls were allowed to talk to me and I couldn't stand most of them for the fact that they always wanted to know about my nonexistent sex life with Clayton.

Clayton's home wasn't comfy for me; I missed Ben's comfy home. Clayton's was cold and detached from life but Ben's was inviting and welcoming. I missed his house, I missed his pack, and I missed him. I just wanted to see him again, I didn't even have a picture of him and I always had to think of exactly what he looked like and what his scent smelled like.

"Amith what's wrong?" Clayton asked me through the door, he acted concerned as if he didn't beat me last night for refusing to mate him.

"Just feeling queasy, I'll be fine" I replied. I leaned against the wall and flushed the toilet. I was waiting for my stomach to settle. Ben and I had left our bond open so the other could see what the other was doing, I think it gave us both comfort. We couldn't talk but I could pop into his head and see and feel what he was feeling.

I decided to focus on Ben; he was sitting in a meeting talking with Josiah, Gage, Ruckus, Jacob, Graham and Kyla. "We need to find her soon. I don't know what Clayton will do once he realizes she's pregnant" Ben said, he looked like he hadn't slept in a while. Graham glared at him and looked like he wanted a fight.

"She'd still be here if it wasn't for you!" he shouted at Ben, everyone looked astonished by his outburst. "Why couldn't you just believe that she didn't cheat?"

"Graham this is neither the time nor place, we need to find Amith and fast and you are not helping" Kyla said in a hushed voice. Kyla hated scolding people in front of others but I could see she was wearing herself out, I didn't realize how many people would be worried.

"She's safe for now, I couldn't even smell that she was pregnant," Josiah jumped in; he sighed and rubbed his face with his hands. "I'm scared of how patient Clayton will be with her, he has been searching for her for five or so years. If he forces her into something I don't know how well she'll fight back."
