Chapter Thirty One.

I was wearing a black long sleeve dress that went past my ankles, the arms were a beautiful lace and it made sure that you couldn't see my wrists. Tonight was the night of the party and it was the first time in a while that I would see anyone from the pack. Ben was reluctant, he swore I still needed bed rest but I told him that I was going crazy and I missed everyone. I could hear the music outside and went to stand beside Ben who was waiting at the door. He wore a pair of slacks, a light green shirt and a black tie.

"Ready?" I asked Ben, he gave me a breathtaking smile.

"I've been ready for an half hour," Ben replied back, I rolled my eyes and went to head down the stairs but Ben grabbed me by the waist and pulled me to him. Kissing my cheek he scooped me up and carried me downstairs.

"Ben if you don't put me down!" I said harshly to him, but he just laughed at me and pushed open the door to the backyard. It was beautiful, the whole place was lit up by Christmas lights and there were tables all around. The whole pack was there dancing, the children were running and laughing, people were eating and socializing. I smiled up at Ben and kissed his cheek.

"Luna!" Ruckus called over the music, everyone looked to the door and raised their glasses to me. Ruckus and Gage got on stage and grabbed a mic, Ben put me down and pulled me to him. I looked at the pack that was around me, there were a lot of them, at least a hundred or so people.

"We are happy to welcome our Luna home from months of imprisonment," Gage said, he gave me a smile and then raised his glass. "When you were gone it was as if we were all missing a part of us, I'm more than over joyed to welcome you home. This pack is where you belong and we will protect you with our lives," Gage said, the crowd cheered and I smiled. Ben kissed my neck and I slapped his arm playfully.

Ruckus waited until the crowd went silent, from here I could barely notice the scar above his eye. "Luna Amith, you have made Ben a softy," I started laughing and Ben growled playfully. "You should get him to cut down on training; he's like putty in your hands."

"Watch it you," Ben said in a joking tone. I kissed his cheek and felt Ben's whole frame rumble in laughter.

"But back to the point, you are a wonderful Luna. We hope you and Ben stick around for a long while because you are doing exceptionally well jobs at running the pack. To the Luna!" Everyone rose their glasses and looked at me. "Now let's get this party started!"

Ruckus jumped off the stage and Gage followed, they walked over to us. Gage's deep blue eyes held excitement and so did Ruckus's blue eyes. Gage hugged me and then Ruckus joined in creating a huge group hug.

"Guys I can't breathe," I said which only made them hold on harder. They eventually pulled away and we were joined by Iris, holding a very adorable Bell, and a very pregnant Lilith. I stared at Lilith's belly and held back the envy that had showed up out of nowhere.

"We're so happy to have you back," Lilith said and then pulled me into a hug, I was surprised and as soon as we made skin contact I could feel the baby's heart beating. I tried to be happy and plastered on my best fake smile.

"Congratulations on the baby, how far a long are you?" I asked her, she gave me a smile and pulled away. Gage's arms wrapped around her and laid on her stomach.

"About six months, I was pregnant when they took you but we hadn't said anything to anyone yet," Lilith said, she looked at Gage with a loving smile and I made sure that my smile stayed plastered on. I turned to Iris and snatched Bell out of her arms.

"Hello Bell, I missed you so much," I raised her above my head and made her seem like a toy airplane. Bell giggled, showing her growing teeth.

"She did miss you," Ruckus said, Iris nodded her head and looked at Bell.
