It's been 2 weeks. Jason's actions have been continuous, I keep quiet about it though. I can't get rid of this dirty feeling no matter how many times I shower. Oh my God why? Why does this happen to me? My mom comes busting through the door with groceries "there are more on the porch" she says. I throw on my sneakers on and run out. I go and help my mother bring the food in and once I go out to see if there is any more I see Jeremy outside. "Hi" he says with his hands in his pockets. I wave. It's quiet for a second. "Did I do something" he asks. I stare at him in confusion. "Well" he begins "you've been so distant you know. You aren't responding to my calls or texts". I smile and jog down the stairs to the sidewalk where he is standing. I hug and kiss him. "You didn't do anything", I smile "I was just having one of those days". We are still holding on to each other my arms around his neck and his hands on my hips. "One of those days for two weeks"? Before I can even answer Jason appears on the porch. "Kaylynn your mom said you have to come in the house" he says. "Are you sure" I roll my eyes. "Yes" he says, I grab Jeremy's hand and we go into the house. I know Jason is upset, I just hope he doesn't do anything.
Jeremy and I hung out for the rest of the day. I thought it was so sweet that he came to check on me. Time passes and Jeremy goes home. "So" my mom enters my room Jeremy just pops up without notice huh". "He was checking up on me" I laugh. "Hmm okay, yall better not be acting up" she side eyes me and leaves the room.
Hurl. I barf into the toilet. I have been feeling nauseated lately. I think it's because of me being stressed about final exams. I flush the toilet and wash my face and mouth. I walk into the kitchen and dip a pickle in some fluff. As I bit into it I think what the fuck... Why am I eating this. Then my phone rang. "Hey" Anasia I say answering my phone. She smacks her lips. "Gurl i'm wearing white and I just got my damn period". I laugh. Anasia and I were best friends until my mom moved me to a private school. We finish our conversation then i sat and thought. Suddenly my hearts dropped. MY PERIOD IS LATE.
