Christians phone goes off, ringing repeatedly. ¨Hello¨ he answers the phone, his voice is so sexy when he is sleepy. ¨WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU WITH MY CAR¨ Tony yells. ¨SHIT¨ Christian hangs up the phone and jumps to the front seat of the car. We speed home. ¨Yall need to quit doing this stupid shit¨ Tony scolds us. ¨Yea I know you guys were having fun but you need to be careful the 'westies' (west side rollers) are everywhere¨. ¨Sorry¨ I mutter. ¨Kaylynn¨ Tony says ¨I expect some shit like that from you.. but Christian you know better¨. ¨Uh what the hell is that supposed to mean¨ I glare at Tony. They both laugh. ¨Babygirl you might wanna get home your mom is probably up¨ Tony says.

I gasp and run home. ¨So you snuck out¨ my mom said as I entered the house.¨What has gotten into you¨. ¨Ma im just having fun¨"I suck my teeth ¨its not like im disobeying and not doing work at school. In fact I have been doing very good in school, i have also been doing my chores and helping out around the house. ¨That's not the point¨ she starts ¨it was fricking 3am, it's dangerous¨. ¨Fine¨ I sigh ¨I won't do it again. Damn, I think to myself she is always on my dick.

Later on today I am walking with Ayala to the park when I hear a whistle. I look back. ¨Ayo Ma¨ a man says. I see a blue and yellow bandana hanging out of his pant pocket. SHIT!! I pick up Ayala and start to speed walk. He picks up his pace. My heart pounds. More West Side Rollers pop up behind corners. Ambush. I begin to run and I see a bus in the distance. ¨HOLD THE BUS¨ I yell waving my hand. Ayala cries frightened. ¨HOLD THE BUS¨ I run faster. ¨HOLD THE FUCKING BUS¨! Finally I jump on the bus. One of the westies have their foot in the door. The bus pulls away. I sit and sigh in relief. Ayla continues to cry. I run my fingers through her hair and kiss her forehead. ¨It's okay mama, it's okay. ¨Chris¨ I say crying ¨can you come get me¨?

¨How the hell did you get 40 minutes away from home¨ Tony asks. I buckle Aylas seatbelt. ¨On the bus.. westies were chasing me¨. I explain everything as Tony drives me home. ¨Shit¨ Tony says loading his gun. ¨Now you're a target. ¨Gun¨ Ayla says. ¨YLA NO¨ I raise my voice. ¨Don't worry¨ Christian says ¨I will do everything in my power to keep you and Ayla protected¨.

I return home to my house trashed and my mom sitting on the floor crying. ¨KAYLYNN LOOK AT THE SHIT YOU GOT US IN, LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!!! ¨YOU FUCKING WIT NIGGAS IN GANGS¨ my mom screams.¨Mom I- I-¨ I begin to talk but nothing comes out. ¨THEY THREATENED TO KILL ME¨. I cry and so does Ayla. ¨Iḿ sorry¨ I am so sorry¨. ¨What are we going to do my mom¨ cries. ¨I was prepared for this¨ I pull out 3 wads of cash. ¨KAYLYNNN where did you get this¨ my mom says in shock. ¨Don't worry about it¨ I roll my eyes. ¨Excuse me¨ my mom starts. ¨PLEASE MA¨ I yell ¨JUST LISTEN¨.¨I called Tony to pick up Aiden and escort him here safely. We need to pack all our stuff now. I bought us a house in Ma's name (my great great grandma), it's in Philadelphia people will just think the house was inherited. I have 3 tickets for the 5:00 plane we cant tell anyone we are leaving.. we just go¨. My mom didn't speak she just did as told. Tony picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. While waiting for the plane Christian pulled me into a corner.

¨I'm so sorry I put you through this¨ he said. ¨I should have just distanced myself¨. ¨Chris, this isn't your fault.. it's okay we are just gonna hide out until shit dies down¨. ¨I didn't mean to put you in any type of danger¨ chris sighs ¨I love you¨. I pull Christian close and kiss him, then I cry and hug him. Out of nowhere Sebastian,Parisa, and Keisha are running toward me. I hug all of them and we cry together. ¨So this is goodbye huh¨ Sebastian says. ¨Yea¨ I sniffle. ¨Forever¨? Parisa asks. ¨No not forever¨ I say. ¨Lets not say goodbye ¨Keisha says ¨it's too final¨. ¨Okay¨ I say ¨So I guess see you later¨. ¨Yea¨ everyone says ¨see you later¨.  My flight is called and I leave.
