I never learn

Do you ever do the thing where you don't really have any responsibilities at the moment so you randomly pick up a book without thinking and finish it in 2 hours and then go onto the next one and then three days later you've sobbed your way through the last 4 HTTYD books again because hello yes you'd think I would've learned to stop doing that by now but no apparently not

I just

Picked up #8

And then suddenly I was in tears as I finished #11

What even happened

Also, it's been a while since I've said it so imma say it again:

The How to Train Your Dragon series is just,, so many things

Nobody even knows that there's books, and even fewer people know that they're 1000 times better than the movies

Yeah, they're stupid at first, but they end up telling this incredibly horrible and wonderful story about monsters and heroes and sacrifice and love and jesus christ how do I even explain the last book oh right i'm not going to try because I WILL start crying again

Rereading the series after a year is basically the equivalent of tossing my little fangirl heart into a paper shredder and I'm not even regretting it c:

Until the next burst of randomness,
