Summer break started and Nicole had already left for UCLA. Everyone was gone on vacation including Bucky and his friends. Bucky was bored in Florida it wasn't like the year before where he had a girl Bella wasn't as fun as the girl he had the summer before.
When they got back he called Ellie and said "hey what are you doing?'
"I just dropped off Liam at daycare and headed to the restaurant." she said
"Daycare? I thought you had a sister." he said
"My sister was a senior and she's already left for California." she said
"Oh.." he said
"Did you have fun on your trip?' she said
"No.. Bella and I broke up before it was over we got into a fight cause I didn't come home and slept with someone else. I just I haven't done that since I broke up with Leah last year." he said
"oh.. well atleast you got to go away." she said as she turned down the road to the restaurant.
"So what time do you get off today?' he said
"I get off at 5." she said
"Okay can I come see you then." he said
"I guess so I have to pick up Liam then we can meet some where." she said
"Okay I'm going to take a nap cause I'm exhausted." he said
"Okay I'm pulling into the parking lot now so you rest and we can meet up later." she said
"Sounds good." he said
She clocked into work and worked her shift then picked up Liam then met Bucky at the Mexican restaurant. She was getting Liam's car seat out of the car and he said "Hey you."
"Hey." she said
"It's summer Ellie and you have him dressed like it's cold." he said

"He's fine." she said
They sat down and ate dinner and he paid for them both. "So um I'll see you later. I know you are tired."
She chuckled and said "Yeah and I've to feed him soon."
"Right." he said
On the way home Ellie wiped tears Bucky was making her re think her decision about not telling him that Liam is his but she was still scared that it could back fire. She continued to work her two jobs all summer long and she applied to colleges of her choice and did her back to school shopping. She and Bucky had their nights where they would meet for dinner if she had a short day at work.
By the time Liam was 4 months in July he was finally starting to sleep through the night. After open house was over Bucky met her at her car. "Hey Ellie.." he said
"oh hey I saw you in there I just try and keep my distance when it comes to your friends. You may be nice to me but they still aren't." she said
"it's fine I just wanted to see your schedule." he said
He compared his schedule with hers and he said "Awesome I have all my classes with you."
"Great.." she said
"Everything okay." he said
"Yeah.. I just have a lot to figure out right now." she said
"Like what." he said
"How I'm suppose to work now." she said
"You still haven't told him." he said
"Buck.." she said
"Ellie.." he said
"I have to go I have to feed him" she said
"Ellie don't avoid the question." he said but she had already gotten in her car and shut the door.
