Natalie's POV

"Leave my girl alone, buddy," I could hear familiar voice behind me. A small smile found its way to my face and my tensed body relaxed automatically.

The man froze in his spot not moving an inch. The silence set in and the only sound that could be heard was the gentle wind that played with the tiny leafs and short grass.

I didn't know what to do...stay in one place or try to get free. I didn't know if my savior was going to make any move or not. I didn't know what was his plan so I just lied in some stranger's embrace waiting impatiently.

Suddenly the guy threw me on the ground harshly. My body fell down flat on the ground with my chest aimed down. I caught after the hard impact trying to catch my breath as my lungs stopped working for a moment.

With my eyes closed I tried to get up ignoring the pain. Out of nowhere a hand appeared under my knees and second under my upper back. In no time I'm above the ground in a strong warm embrace.

"Natalie, are you okay?" Xukun asked with worry evident in his deep chocolate eyes. I stared into them for too long before I finally answered. "I think yes, thank you, Xukun."

"Can you walk?" he questioned and I just simply nodded my head in response. I didn't feel much pain at that moment. I felt happy inside thought quite tired on the outside.

I was glad that I was rescued but I wasn't happy that it was Xukun. It was supposed to be Jisung. He was my boyfriend and he was supposed to be my charming prince, my knight, just like in dramas.

But I felt grateful anyway, what more my trust for Xukun went on a higher level but it still wasn't enough for him to get close to me.

He slowly put me on the ground again holding onto my waist tightly in case I was going to fall. I straightened myself and wanted to take a step back. As I slightly moved myself his grip tighten making me look into his eyes. His expression was unreadable making me even more confused.

"Why did you go out? I told you to stay in the house. Why weren't you listening to me?" his tone was harsh but quiet. I widened my eyes by the unexpected question and roamed my gaze around our surroundings.

"I-I texted you, he said he got Jisung and he wasn't picking up his phone and nobody knew where he was so I came here to-"

"To save him? Are you kidding me? How did you wanted to do this, hm?" he cut me off and attacked me with questions rising his voice slightly making me flinch.

"I don't know. I couldn't just sit and do nothing!" I fought back pushing him away from me. Who does he think he is?

"Did you really think you would gain anything?! You really thought that it was as easy as he claimed?!" he yelled making me scoff.

"So what! I can take care of myself! I would think of something!" I yelled offended. He knew nothing about me. How could he even say thinks like that if he was on the list of dangerous guys himself.

"Just like now?! You were helpless! What would you do if I didn't appear?!" he shouted as he took my shoulders in his hands. His grip was tight but not strong enough to hurt me in any way.

"I don't know! But I had to try to save him! I had to!" I screamed trying to hold back tears that were threatening to fall. I didn't even know why I wanted to cry but I couldn't control it.

"No, you didn't," he said calmly and I shook my head not believing my ears.

"I didn't? What are you saying? I had to...Jisung is-"

"Not worth it," the boy stated rising his voice a little. Xukun took his hands away and looked into other direction taking few steps back. What? I was so shocked and taken aback by his words that I didn't know how to react.
