Chapter 39 - Helping Belle

Erika's POV
The next day, Kai and I are helping Belle to recover. But she's still afraid of using her wand.
Kai Oppa and I tried and tried, but none. It's like won't get near her wand.

"Belle, can you use your ice powers?" Kai asked.
She nodded and made hand movements, making snowflakes.

"Okay, now try to touch your wand again." he said.

Belle stopped and hesitated. Just staring at her wand, constantly.
Her wand was lying on a round table in front of her, she walked to up to it and slowly...

Almost touching it...

Belle let out a breath of disappointment.
"I can't." she said.

I frowned at that.

So close. I thought.

"Maybe I shouldn't go back to school." Belle said.
"Don't say that, Belle. Your friends are there." I said.

Belle didn't make any eye contact with me.
"Maybe this will work." Kai Oppa blurt it out.

"What will work?" I asked.
Kai Oppa thought for a while.

"Maybe she can not use her wand for a while. Maybe she can use her ice powers instead...until she's ready to use her wand again." Kai said.
"That might be a good idea." I said. Then I looked at Belle.

"You want to do that? Until you're ready to touch your wand again?" I asked her.
She nodded. "Ne."

Kai Oppa smiled at her.

~Later~
Belle went back to sleep. I tucked her in and walked out of her bedroom.
"Hey."

I turned and saw Baekhyun Oppa.
"Hey, Oppa." I greeted.
He smiled and walked up to me.

"How's Belle?" he asked.
"She's asleep for now." I replied.

"That's good. She deserves lots of rest." he said.
I nodded.

"Yeah." I said.
Baekhyun sighed out of relief. "Thank goodness."

I giggled.

"Oppa, I'm worried."

Baekhyun smiled and patted me on my head.
"I know. We're all worried as well. You're not the only one. Belle's going to be all right, she's strong. You must have faith in her." he said.

I nodded.

"Come on, it's getting late. You best be getting to sleep." he said.
I nodded.

"Night Oppa." I said.
"Night Erika."

I smiled and went into my room. As I laid on my bed...my mind suddenly thought of Harry.

Wonder how's he doing? I thought.
