Chapter 70 - Hating Beauty

Isabelle's POV
I was all alone around the corridor. And I was walking until....Malfoy and I met.
His eyes....looked sad. I looked away from him and bumped his shoulder.

But he stopped me, by holding onto my wrist.
"Wait." he said.

I shoved his hand off.
"Why? I don't have time for you." I said.
"Please, listen to me Belle. Yesterday, I didn't mean what I did to you. I just...lost control." he said.
"Lost control?! Hmph, more like a bastard." I said.

"But I did mean what I said." he stated.
My eyes widen and my heart started to beat faster and faster.

Bum. Bum. Bum.

Eeottke? I thought.

"I can't hide my feelings no more. Every time I see you with another guy, I....I can't take it. I just want to punch that guy." he said.
"What do you mean by that, Malfoy? Hiding your feelings?" I asked, still not making eye contact with him.

He walked in front of me and I know he's looking at me, but I wasn't looking at him.
"What I mean is....I love you." he replied.

Aish, stop beating so fast! I scolded myself.

I finally looked at him, his grey-ish blue eyes stared at my brown ones.
"I don't believe you." I said.

"What?" he asked.
"I don't believe you at all, Malfoy. You're just like the guys here in Hogwarts, expect for Harry and Ron. They only say that because they wanted sex! Do you think I'm stupid enough to know that?! They only want me because of my beauty and my looks. I just want a guy that loves me for me, that's all. And....the beauty that I have...I blame everything on myself! I didn't ask for this beauty to come upon me. I didn't ask for the boys attention. I didn't ask for all of this to happen." I snapped.

"Belle, I really mean it for what I said, can't you just believe me for once?." He said.
"I still don't believe you. I hated you from the first we met!" I exclaimed.

"Belle, please just listen---" I cut him off, by pushing him.

"Aniyo! I'm not listening to a pure-blood manic like you. Just don't come near me at all. Goodbye!"

I stomped away and headed to the music room.

Draco's POV
I got rejected. I just confessed and then...she reject my heart.

So this is how it feels like to have a broken heart. I thought.

Erika's POV ~The very same day~
We were all looking at Filch as he hung another proclamation.

"This can't be." Hermione mumbled.

I followed her gaze and saw another Proclamation that Filch put up.

Oh great! I thought.
Belle got mad and left.

"Belle." I called her.
"I need my space." she said, walking away.

I let out a sad sigh. Belle has always been this way now.

"Boys and girls are not permitted to be within eight inches of each other. Those wishing to join the Inquisitorial Squad for extra credit....Students will be submitted to questioning about suspected illicit activities. Any student in noncompliance will be expelled."
