Chapter 74 - Into Snape's Short Memory

Harry's POV

I saw myself in front of the mirror in my 1st year.

I saw my Dad and Mum, standing there, smiling at me.

But then Snape came in between them.

"Feeling Sentimental?"

"That's private." I said as i was breathing heavily.

"Not to me. And not to the Dark Lord, if you don't improve. Every memory he has access to is a weapon he can use against you." He said

Snape came closer to me.

"You won't last two seconds if he invades your mind. You're just like your father. Lazy, Arrogant." he said.

"Don't say a word against my father." I snapped.

"Weak." he added.

"I'm not weak." I said.

"Then prove it. Control your emotions. Discipline your mind." he said.

I was breathing heavily still.Snape raised his wand at me.

"Legilimens." Memories starts to show.

Voldemort was standing there with a black suit from my dream.

Second was...I was with Erika, holding her hand as we sat down on the couch together.

Third was Kara kissing me and me being in a Love Potion

Fourth was....glaring at Erika.

Then it changed to when my parents are smiling

Fifth was...I was hugging Sirius.

"I may vomit." he said.

"Stop it." I pleaded.

"Is this what you call control?" asked Snape.

"We've been at it for hours. If I could just rest." I exclaimed.Snape came right at me.

"The Dark Lord isn't resting. You and Black, you're two of a kind. Sentimental children forever whining about how bitterly unfair your lives have been. Well, it may have escaped your notice, but life isn't fair. Your blessed father knew that. In fact, he frequently saw to it." he said.

"My father was a great man." I said.Snape grabbed my shirt and pulled me away from the door."Your father was a swine." he said.

"Legilimens."

"Protego."

I went into Snape's Memories. Seeing him getting bullied by my father.

"Dad?" Snape was hanging upside down. Then he suddenly fell down.

"Hey!" It was Erika's and Belle's Mother.

"James!!" I turned to I saw my mother. "Lily." Dad said.

Mom was giving him a glare. Erika's mother walked up to My dad and smacked him on the head.

"Ow! Kelly!" Dad winced.

"You deserved it." She said.

Then Jimmy comes in and head knuckled my dad. "How many times to I have to tell you not to bully him. Sorry Severus." Jimmy then lended his hand, Then suddenly.....

"Enough."

I got out of Snape's memory.

I was quite shocked.

No wonder he hated me.

I got up and Snape came to me and grabbed my shirt.

"Your lessons are at an end.' he said.

"I--" He cut me off.

"Get out."

He let go of me and I ran out of the room.

Once I got out, I saw Fred and George with a little boy crying.

I glanced at the boy and went up to him.

"Hey, why you're crying?" George asked.

"It's the worst class ever. She made us write lines for her. The pain hurts." he replied.

"What's your name?" Fred asked as he sat down beside him.

"Michael." he replied.

"Your hand is going to be fine. Look at our hands." Fred said.

"Yeah. It's not as bad as it seems. See?" said George.

"It's fading already." said Fred.

"It's going to be alright Michael, you can hardly see ours anymore, and the pain stops after a while." George said. Michael kept crying.

"Hem. Hem." we heard. This women is driving us insane.

"As I told you once before, Mr. Potter. Naughty children deserve to be punished." Umbridge said.

Umbridge walked away with a smirk on her face.

"You know, George...I've always felt our futures lay outside the world of Academic Achievement." said Fred.

"Fred, I've been thinking exactly the same thing." said George.

~Moments Later~

I didn't go to the common room. I just went to the Hospital Wing.

Erika hasn't woke up yet, and I got worried.

I sat beside her and looked at her beautiful face.

It just makes me want to kiss her. I decided to hold her and brought it up to my lips.

Her hands are so soft. As I held her hand, I sort of fell asleep.
