Chapter 73 - Baby Don't Cry

"Now, I want you all to write...." she was interrupted by Belle, coming in late in class.
"Miss Lee, explain why you're late in class?" she asked.

Draco turned over his shoulder and saw Belle.
"Answer me, Miss Lee." Umbridge said.

Belle looked down, not saying anything.
Umbridge walked to her and stomped her foot. Belle flinched at that.

"I'm going to ask you one last time, why you're late in my class?" Umbridge said.

Say something, Belle. Draco thought.

Again, Belle didn't say anything.
"And where's your sister? She's late as well." Umbridge said.

Belle look at Umbridge with a blank look.

Umbridge couldn't talk it anymore.
"Speak up!" she snapped, making Belle flinch.

Harry, Ron and Hermione were about to stand up until Draco walked up to Belle.

"Professor, I'll take care of this." he said.
Umbridge smiled, innocently.

"Lovely. See her to it and make sure she gets it." she sneered.
Draco didn't answer but dragged Belle out of class.

Dracos' POV
I dragged Belle out of class, because she usually on time for class. But not like this.
"Belle, what's wrong?" I asked.

She didn't answer.

"I know Erika hasn't woke up yet, but be strong, okay." I said.
Belle shed a tear and cried.

"Hey, don't cry okay." I said.
She just kept on crying.

I pulled her into a hug and let her cry into my chest.
"Meet me at the Astronomy Tower, okay." I said.

She nodded as she cried.

3rd Person's POV
"Belle should've tell us something." Hermione said.
Harry, Ron and Hermione ran to the Hospital Wing, because they just found out about Erika.

"Well, maybe she has a reason." Ron said.
Harry just rushed into the Hospital Wing and barged in there.

"Oh my. Potter, Weasley, Granger. How can you barge in like that?" Pomfrey asked.
"Sorry, Madam Pomfrey." Hermione apologized.

Harry looked around and saw Erika, lying on the hospital bed.
He walked up to the bed and sat down.

"What happened?" Hermione asked.
"She was bitten by a snake. But good thing, Belle got her here in time, thank goodness. I gave her a antidote already, she should be fine now, but she needs rest right now." Madam Pomfrey replied.

Hermione sighed out of relief.
"You can visit for a while, but she needs lots of rest." Madam Pomfrey suggested.
The three nodded.

Harry held onto Erika's hand and stroke it with his thumb.
"Who could've done this?" Ron asked.
"I don't know and who has a snake as a pet?" Hermione said.

Harry sighed and looked at Erika's gorgeous face.
"We won't know until Erika wakes up. So we'll wait." he said.

Ron and Hermione nodded.
Harry leaned a little closer to Erika's ear and whispered.

"Wake up soon. I miss you already."

~That night~

Draco was waiting for Belle to come up to the Astronomy Tower. Belle slowly walked up those stairs and her eyes met Draco's.
"You made it." Draco said.

Belle didn't say anything. So, she walked up to the rails and looked at the full moon.
"Looks beautiful, huh?" Draco asked.

Belle sighed and nodded.
She felt like crying again. She blames everything on herself.

Draco sighed and hugged behind her. Belle didn't budge.

"Let it all out, Belle. Don't hold it in." Draco said.

Belle couldn't hold it in longer. So, she quickly turned around and hugged Draco's chest.
She then cried, yet again.

Draco hugged her back and thought of a song earlier that Kai mentioned.

~Flashback~
Draco waited for EXO Kai to come in and eventually he did. In the Slytherin Common Room.
"Man! The Security sucks." Kai groaned.

"Kai." Draco called him.
Kai crossed his arms and looked at him.

"So, is there a reason why you called me here?" he asked.
"Well, I was asking if you know about Erika---" Kai cut him off.

"That Erika got poisoned and now Belle's not talking. Yeah we know. Right now, we're trying to figure it out who did it." Kai said.
"Ah, so you knew." Draco said.

Kai nodded.

"Now, back to me. What's the real reason?" Kai asked.
"What's a good way for Belle to talk again and also...for her to stop crying?" Draco asked back.
"Easy, sing a song." Kai replied.

"But what song?" Draco asked.

Belle continued crying as Draco thought what Kai taught him.

Draco held her tight and took a deep breath.

Please don't hesitate anymore
Yes, the sharper it is, the better
Even the moon closed its eyes tonight

After Draco was done singing, Belle went to sleep.
He chuckled at that.

"You're like a kid, but that make me love you even more." Draco whispered.
Draco carried her bridal style and took her to the Gryffindor Common Room. Which it was not a good idea.

"What are you doing here, Malfoy?" Harry sneered. Then they noticed he was carrying Belle.
"First Erika and now Belle." Ron said.

"Look, I don't have time to explain. Belle fell asleep." Draco said.
Hermione believed that.

"Follow me." Hermione lead Malfoy to the girls dorm.
"She's insane right?" Ron asked.
Harry just shrugged.

Draco laid Belle on her bed and tucked her in.
"What happened to her when Umbridge scolded her?" Hermione asked.

Draco just sighed.

"And she said you'll something about it, you didn't do anything, right?" Hermione asked.
"No, I didn't." Draco replied.

He got up and was about to walk out.

"Thank you, Malfoy. For bringing Belle here." she said.
"No problem." Draco said.

He finally walked out of the Gryffindor Common Room and went to his dorm.

And he'll never forget what happened tonight. He will cherish that memory...forever.
