Chapter 19-

"Fire?!" Suur yelled as he hit the concrete. The hardly consumed anything and only seemed to burn up.

"Had enough?" Derick asked. Suur shook his head and grabbed a larger rock. He grasped it tight as it became green.

"Now we'll test my powers," Suur said lunging the rock as Derick who dodged it again.

"You can't throw," Derick said plainly.

Asad and Alessia had been watching Derick and Suur dook it out, in their own way. They hadn't kept their eyes very close on Kenna until she was no longer in sight. Asad turned around to look at Kenna who was gone.

"Kenna!" Asad yelled as he began running down the bridge. "You can't always win!" He yelled. Alessia seemed to get the message as she began running with Asad too.

"Kenna?" Alessia asked. She seemed to have sunk off when they weren't looking. Suddenly out of thin air came a voice.

"I see her," The voice said. It startled Alessia as she jumped. Septer released her clinched fist and appeared. She motioned at their feet. Asad looked around as did Alessia. Then they came over to the ledge as saw Kenna holding on to the concrete. She gasped trying to hold on.

"Did you fall?!" Alessia asked in disbelief turning to Septer. She shook her head.

"I may have given her a nudge," Septer said shrugging her shoulders.

"You're really going to let me fall?! All the work I've done for you to go to Hiliton and you're going to, to desert me?!" Kenna panicked. Septer stepped forward.

"Helped? You didn't help anyone! If anything you hurt us," Septer said crossing her arms. Suddenly Kenna grasped onto Septer's leg pulling her down. She screamed as she was now invisible by her touch. "Stop!" Septer yelled. Alessia tried to help pull Septer back up, but she couldn't see her.

"Stop! Stop!" Alessia yelled as she searched for Septer. "Fine we will help you up!" Alessia demanded. Kenna stopped pulling Septer when she heard the news.

"Why would you help me?" Kenna asked curiously. Alessia turned to Asad who seemed to hold the answer.

"If we help you, then we want you to show the same honor you have showed to us," Asad said looking down at her. Her fingers began slipping as she gasped.

"Fine just help me!" Kenna yelled. Asad took her hand as she was pulled up. Septer was relieved as Alessia helped her up as well, with more courtesy. Kenna gasped for air as she sat upon the concrete for minutes.

"You won't see the end of me today! Not yet Derick!" Suur yelled as he pelted green rocks at him. On caught onto his leg. He fell to his leg trying to get the acid off him. The pain was like a burn, but only acid.

Derick rose with anger as he threw a fireball at Suur's leg. He immediately tried to get it off as he winced in pain.

"Doesn't feel good does it?" Derick said through clenched teeth. Suur looked up at him and glared. "What ever happened to Leona and you? Acid and cats don't go together well," Derick laughed as he through another flaming ball. Suur's shirt began to catch on fire as Leona jumped from Derick's words. He threw off the shirt and narrowed his eyes at Derick.

"You know, you just know how to set people off don't you?" Suur said shaking his head. Derick rolled his eyes at his comment. "Leona and I are none of your business, okay?" Suur replied groaning.

"Why what happened? Did she break your little heart?" Derick laughed. Suur's eyes got wide as he chucked more acid rocks at him. They pelted him like missiles it seemed. Derick quickly tried to sooth the pain as he shook them off.

"I said that's none of your BUSINESS!" Suur yelled falling to his knees after he screamed. Leona look petrified as she darted away from sight. The darkness from Derick's eyes were now sensed from the acid pain which felt like actual fire. He was cringing, but saw Suur who seemed to be weeping.

Derick fell onto the concrete. The lack of water to their burns made it hard to stand as they laid there.

Kenna stood up suddenly. She had been looking at the ground for some time, but soon managed her strength to stand.

"You agreed to the deal," Asad said as Alessia had ran to the nearest car to grab rope. She handed it to Asad who seemed unemotional towards the act. Kenna grew tense as Asad held the rope in his hand. He raised one eyebrow as if waiting for her to reply. After a long moment of silence he proceeded to reach for her hands so he could bind them, but the rope bounced off her perimeter.

"I can't let you do that," Kenna said shaking her head smiling. Asad's lips were now in a tight line.

"I knew I couldn't trust you," He said. The three of them exchanged glances. It hardly seemed likely that they would be able to tie her at all next to her force field. Alessia's eyes turned grey as she stared at Kenna.

"You knew this all along didn't you," Alessia said frowning. "You knew that Suur would help you and that you could-" She suddenly gasped holding her hand up to her mouth as if she couldn't say anymore.

"Alessia, what is it?" Septer said turning to her.

"Y-you were the one who took Leona and, her, powers?" Alessia questioned looking down at her feet as her eyes flickered blue. "That means-"

"Yes. I do have Leona's powers. Except now I'm not just a cheetah," Kenna smirked. Alessia's eyes widened as her eyes turned grey again.
