Chapter 20-
Alessia gasped as she relieved the creature Kenna really was. Septer and Asad were lost in the conclusion that they couldn't read minds.
"What? What is she Alessia?!" Asad gasped waiting for her to respond. Alessia stood their with her mouth open yet no words came out.
"Vulture," Alessia whispered. Suddenly Kenna transformed. Wings grew at her sides and a beak came from her nose. Her wings turned black and her face was now an ugly shade of pink. She crowed as Alessia began backing up.
"Asad," Alessia said gripping his shirt. "Run," Like a bolt of light Alessia set off running. Bits and pieces of concrete chips flew in the air as she sped off. Kenna craned her neck to Asad who began growled. Out of cats and birds it seemed that a cougar would have the upper hand. Kenna crowed again and started flying. Her claws seemed to want to dive onto Asad's back. He suddenly moved but realized she was headed for Alessia.
"Alessia! Watch out!" Asad yelled as he ran towards Alessia. Kenna cawed as she headed straight towards Alessia. Alessia turned to see the vulture coming down towards her as she ducked making Kenna dive down. Alessia tried reading her mind but it all seemed so pointless. Kenna's eyes seemed so lifeless she couldn't even read what she was thinking.
Alessia fell back onto the ground as Kenna came around a second time. Her claws were out as she dove right towards Alessia. Suddenly Asad jumped out and attacked Kenna, nailing her to the ground.
"We have a deal," Asad roared as Alessia stood gasping for air. She brushed off some dust and grabbed the rope that was around Asad. She bound up Kenna's wings then feet.
"This is not the end I tell you! This isn-" Kenna's words were cut off by Alessia roping her beak. There was a long break of silence as they looked at Kenna breathing hard.
"I just wanted to thank you Asad. I probably would have been cut a lot," Alessia said as they got up to walk to their cars.
"No problem Alessia. I kind of owed you," Asad replied back.
"It wasn't all me though," Alessia said. She opened her mouth to continue but was cut off by an audible voice.
"It was me too!" Septer said appearing in front of them. Alessia jumped back.
"Septer! Don't scare us like that," Alessia laughed. Septer smiled.
"Sorry. Sometimes I forget that no one can see me when I septer," She laughed. They had now reached the car and put Kenna in the back where she belonged.
"Wait," Asad said whisking his tail back and forth. "What about..." Asad's voice trailed off as he suddenly took off running.
"Derick," Alessia said running with him. Septer threw her hands in the air.
"We could just drive," She said getting into the drivers seat.

"Leona!" Asad yelled as he looked around at the scene. No one was found. Only sizzling green acid rocks were found on the ground as well as burn marks. "Leona!" Asad yelled again.
"Derick! Derick?" Alessia yelled putting her hands up to the sides of her mouth so she could yell louder. Asad looked to Alessia who seemed discouraged. "Where could they have gone?" Alessia asked trying to hide her Punic.
"I don't know," Asad said frowning. He looked over the side to only find the remnants of the truck that were left. "It seems like the only way down is that way," Asad pointed back to the end of the bridge.
"But we would have seen them pass us. Did one of them fall?" Alessia asked now sounding panicked.
"I didn't see anything down there," Asad shrugged. They continued looking around for a while. It seemed like a dead end, literally.
"Could they have jumped to the other side or something?" Alessia asked pointing to the ending of the bridge.
"Maybe," Asad replied taking a step over to the edge. Then pieces of loose concrete crumbled down. Asad stepped back shocked. "I think I found something," He said pointing to a ledge. Alessia came beside him and nodded.
"I bet they are down there," She said bending down to try and get onto the ledge. Alessia dangled for a moment, then dropped a few feet.
"You okay?" Asad asked. She nodded and motioned him to come.
"You next cougar," She laughed. Asad jumped down next to her as they noticed a large flow of water that was hidden under the bridge. "You think that's why they stopped building here?" Alessia asked. Asad shrugged.
It was like a waterfall coming straight out of the rock. There seemed to have grown up trees and greenery because of the water. It looked like a magical place, yet only a waterfall.
"Why would they come here?" Asad asked as they began walking towards the waterfall. Alessia whistled and thought for a moment.
"Maybe Suur and Derick burned each other," She frowned.

"Now the keys," Septer said feeling her pockets. Kenna was quite which made Septer suspicious. She looked behind her at the vulture. Septer squinted her eyes. "Did you take them?" She asked pointing her finger at Kenna. Septer shook her head. "If only Alessia was here," She mumbled looking around the back seat. Septer felt around by Kenna's feet.
Suddenly Septer felt a sharp pain on her wrist. Kenna was now clawing her arm! Septer septered as she yanked her wrist back. In an instant she was seen again. Kenna had undone the ropes that were bound around her feet and the rope on her beak was snapped. Septer's eyes got wide as Kenna began clawing the door.
Septer opened the door and got out, locking Kenna inside the car. Septer panicked feeling her head. She needed the keys, but more importantly she had a loose vulture in her car!
She began pacing back and forth trying to decide what to do. It seemed that Kenna was making a mess in there too since she was making so much noise. The situation seemed impossible.
