Chapter 22-

"Rain?" Septer asked holding her hand out to feel the raindrops fall onto her fingers. Septer had found the rest of the group and told them to all go back. They all got the jest when it began pouring rain.

"Come on it's gonna storm!" Alessia yelled running under the bridge. Lightning crashed through the sky as thunder followed. Derick and Suur were still soaking wet as they came along.

"No use in running. We're already wet," Suur said rolling his eyes. They all began climbing up the ledge. Alessia helped Derick as he limped up. Suur followed behind them as Septer led the way.

"So all the sudden Derick and Suur just found this random ledge and found water with it?" Septer asked pulling her legs up to the concrete as she got to the top.

"No. We were dying," Suur said motioning his hands as he climbed up the ledge.

"Then how did you reach the water?" Septer questioned.

"Beats me. I had passed out from the heat and burns and when I woke up I was in water," Derick said as he climbed up to the top.

"Then how-" Septer paused.

"What?" Alessia asked standing next to her. She looked in the direction Septer was facing. "What is it?" Alessia asked. The rain was now starting to pour as Alessia tried to move fast, but Septer stood still.

"What Septer?" Derick demanded stepping forward. Septer shook her head and whispered.

"I think I see Leona and Asad," She said now walking hastily forward.

"Wait Septer...hold up!" Alessia said taking off after her. Derick and Suur followed as the two girls ran towards what seemed to be a speck in the distance. Septer began running as Alessia did too. "Slow down!" Alessia yelled after her.

After minutes of intense running, they passed the car. Alessia stopped and watched Septer run towards what seemed to be two figures next to her car. Derick came up beside Alessia and panted.

"What's she doing?" Derick asked opening the door for Alessia.

"I have no idea," Alessia confirmed getting in the car.

"Wait!!" Suur yelled catching up to them. Derick got in the drivers seat as Suur got into the back. "I wanted shotgun," Suur whined as Derick drove. Alessia rolled her eyes as the rain hit across the windshield.

Septer finally stopped seeing no one in front of her. Confused, she turned around to see Derick driving towards her. He was slowing down by now, but Septer knew she had saw something.

"Asad?" Septer asked as she walked around Alessia's car. The rain was pouring down harder as Septer walked around towards the back of the car. "Leona?" Septer asked again. As Septer walked around the car she saw Asad and Leona kissing heavily. "Asad!" She scolded at him making him turn to her in regret. They seemed to both be fully clothed human which was strange. Last she had seen both of them were cats.

"Septer..." Asad said pulling his hands behind his back as if he had been caught in a crime. "...we were just, uh...well you see-"

"-I can see very well," Septer said crossing her arms. "And if you haven't noticed it's raining and Alessia's car is blown out," Septer said frowning. Asad and Leona stood there as fi they were caught in a daze. Septer shook her head as she turned to leave and Derick began taking out a jack out of the back of the car.

"Can you help me with the tire?" Derick asked as he narrowed his eyes at the two of them. "What have yo-"

"Yes I'll help," Asad nodded as he moved quickly to avoid an awkward conversation. Leona met up with Alessia in the car.

The ride home had been long and the rain let up. It had only seemed to be a shower that had passed over. Asad sat next to Leona in the back of Alessia's car as they rode home. Alessia and Septer were in the front while Derick, Suur and Kenna the vulture rode in Septer's car.

Asad had found out that he could be with Leona, and not only that, but that when he kissed her he didn't shape shift. He had thought it over and it could have an effect on how when Leona had turned back into a cheetah. There could be a glitch, but he couldn't be sure. Never the less the car came to a stop when they came to Hiliton. Asad sat in the car as they all stayed silent. What was to become of the school and what was to become of Kenna?

"I think I have an idea for what this school should be," Alessia said resting her hand against her chin.

"What?" Septer asked.

"A school that teaches you about you're powers," Alessia exclaimed.

"But, isn't it already that?" Septer asked shrugging her eyebrows.

"Without Kenna," Alessia laughed. Septer smiled at her idea as they nodded in agreement.

"What about Kenna? What are we going to do about her?" Asad asked from the backseat. The girls craned their heads toward him in curiosity.

"She had a deal with you right? Owe the same honor as she owed to us," Septer said shaking her head. "We will take away her powers just like she got them. And maybe she could even go to jail since that is all what we endured," Septer shrugged.

It was time Kenna got the penalty she deserved. After what seemed like years, Kenna's victory was overthrown. She was now in the place she needed to be.

"Peter?" Septer said opening the car door.

"Septer!" Peter smiled as he ran to greet her. They soon locked arms as Septer remained seen. They hugged for the longest while until they unlocked from each other and smiled.

"I want to show you something," Asad whispered to Leona. She nodded as he pulled her hand along to the forest.

"Where are we going?" Leona asked giggling as he pulled her along.

"Somewhere only a few know," Asad whispered putting his finger of his free hand to his mouth. They ran on threw the forest as Asad soon came to a stop. "Here," Asad said smiling. Leona looked up to see a tree house, Derick's tree house. It was still as beautiful as it had been since Asad had come here last.

"Whoa," Leona gaped as they began climbing up. When they reached the top they opened the door to the old, yet furnished tree house.

"I found this place when I was looking for a rental house. I followed my GPS into the woods and found Derick and Alessia. I soon found out this is Derick's place," Asad laughed remembering the memory.

"It's beautiful," Leona smiled.

"There's more," Asad smiled opening the roof door.

"Wow!" Leona said walking over to the roof. They climbed up as the leaves brushed past them. When they reached what seemed to be the top of the tree Leona sat onto a branch as did Asad. "I love it up here," Leona said looking around.

"Everything is so beautiful," Asad said looking at Leona. She turned to see him staring as he took his hand onto her chin. "You're beautiful Leona," Asad said making Leona smile. They soon kissed as they watched the sunset fall down into the sky. It was a moment no one would know about, but only they would remember.
