Chapter 21-
"Leona!" Asad yells. Him and Alessia had come to the waterfall and now were searching around. The sound of the rushing water made it hard to listen to any voices.
"Derick!" Alessia calls as she walks along the bank of the water. Asad comes around the side and spots something behind the waterfall.
"Alessia I think someone is over there," Asad yells pointing towards the waterfall. She jogs over beside him as they walk around the side. The water is loud and now as they got closer sprinkles of water got onto them.
"Look!" Alessia said pointing behind the waterfall. Asad turned to see Derick sitting down soaked in water. "Derick!" She yelled taking his side. "Are you alright?" She asked in panic. He looks up at her and smiles.
"I'm fine. Just a few burn scares," Derick said. Asad turned to see Suur a few yards away in the water washing off his arms.
"You guys fought?" Asad asked. Derick nodded.
"That's what it feels like," He mumbled trying to stand to his feet. Asad looked around and suddenly wondered where Leona was.
"Where's Leona?" Asad suddenly demanded. Derick looked a little shocked, but answered anyway.
"She left as we were fighting. I didn't' see where she went though," Derick said washing his face in the water. Asad then turned and began looking for Leona. Asad was hurt, but yet he still feeled for her. Whatever had happened with Suur and her could still be something, even though Asad still loved her.

Septer paced back and forth many times. She felt dizzy as the sun began beating against her. It was hot outside and Septer was sweating. She could feel her cheeks were burning red from the heat.
She had been waiting outside the car for a mere thirty minutes, but she could hardly take it anymore. There was air conditioning in the car, not to mention cold water. She didn't want Kenna to escape after everything, but she didn't want to pass out either.
Septer built up enough courage to open the door. Kenna hawked and began charging for her. Septer grabbed an umbrella and fought her back.
"Give up!" Septer yelled as she fought with the vulture. "What makes you try so hard?!" Septer yelled pushing Kenna down onto the floorboard. Septer grabbed a box from under her seat. She suddenly threw the box onto the vulture. Kenna cawed and hit the box even though there was no way of getting out. "Gotcha!" Septer panted taping the edges so she couldn't escape. Reaching for the umbrella, Septer spotted the keys and took them into her hands.
"Finally," Septer breathed as she turned on the car as the cold air began streaming through the vents. She pulled it into drive and sped down the road in hopes of finding the others.

"Leona!" Asad yelled as he trudged through the green trees. His voice was getting hoarse as he began yelling again. "Leo-na," His voice cracked. He stopped and sat down on the grass panting. He stayed there for a while as his big furry body started cooling down. His eyes flickered closed as he laid on the grass.
Asad woke up to the sound of leaves crunching. He didn't realize he had taken a nap, but now there was a breeze. It had been hot when he first went to sleep. Maybe the weather just picked up or something... Asad thought to himself.
His ears pricked to the sound of something moving. He stood up and looked around. Curiously he followed the noise.
"Leona?" Asad asked as he walked towards the leaves crunching. The sunlight hit his eyes as he squinted trying to see who it was. "I know you're there," Asad said.
He looked around one of the trees to find a squirrel afraid of the cougar he was. Asad sighed as he kept on walking.
Coming out of what seemed to be a forest, he found Septer's car parked above the bridge. He began climbing up the ledge that Alessia and him had climbed on. Looking up at the ledge he began bending down to jump up. He lunged only making it wish his two front paws. He tried climbing up, but his back legs wouldn't reach. Septer came around the corner. When she saw him she imminently helped him up. Asad climbed up as Septer helped him.
"Thanks," Asad panted. Septer nodded and looked around for the others.
"Where is everyone else?" Septer asked looking down the ledge.
"They were at the waterfall last I saw them," Asad said standing to his feet.
"Waterfall?" She asked as her eyes got wide.
"Yeah. Apparently Derick and Suur burned each other and climbed down there to cool them down," Asad said looking around him. "Hey have you seen Leona?" Asad asked turning to her.
"No I haven't. I'm going down there alright. Kenna is in that car," Septer said pointing to it. Asad nodded as she climbed down.
"Car, I can't drive a ca- wait Septer!" Asad called looking over the edge.
"I'll be back," She called gesturing her hand. Asad sighed as he passed the car.
"Stay here," Asad warned talking to the car, and Kenna. He walked down the bridge looking for Leona. It was a long way as Asad walked further. The wind had picked up and it seemed like a storm was coming.
After minutes of walking, Asad desided to run. It was faster, and since he was a cat, he had more speed. He ran for a while until he finally reached something. Alessia's car that had a flat. Asad panted as he reached the car. Struggling to open the door with his paws, it finally managed to open.
As he opened the door, a large cat tackled him to the ground. Shocked, he looked up to see Leona. She looked mad, then when she realized it was Asad she backed away.
"I'm sorry," She said sitting down on the concrete. Asad looked starstruck as he sat up never taking his eyes off of her. Then he managed to saw a few words.
"No I'm sorry," Asad said. They both sat there in silence wondering what to do. The wind whistled as the two of them sat there. "What ever happened with you and Suur?" Asad mumbled. She looked at him as a frown broke across her face.
"It's nothing alright," Leona brushed off.
"What did happen though?" Asad asked. "Do you still love him?" He asked. Now only silence came around. The sky grew clouds as the wind blew over them. After minutes of what seemed like endless silence, Leona answered.
"I did love him Asad," She confessed.
"You do?" Asad asked trying to hid his pain by looking down.
"I did Asad. I don't now," She said smiling a little.
"What?" He asked looking up at her confused. Leona walked towards him to face him.
"We were both young. We grew up together. Suur and I had something, but it didn't last long. Acid and cats just-"
"-don't mix," Asad finished making Leona smile. "Leona..." Asad said trailing off. "I love you," He said as he rubbed his cat head against her back. She purred back as they swished their tails back and forth. "Ever since I saw you that day at Hiliton, I thought you were the most beautiful girl and cat I had ever seen," Asad smiled taking his face to meet hers.
Silence covered the air. It was as if nothing mattered now. Not the fact that it was now beginning to rain. Nothing could stop the moment.
