Reid's POV

Help was there. On the ground getting us out. I look up and realize they were going to take us on a plane. Before I could stop myself, I began to cry. I was terrified.

I look over at Giddion. He seems so peaceful. I began crying harder than before.

"It hurts" I cried out. "It hurts... It hurts... IT hurts.... IT HURTS..." I yell out.

Derek runs over to me and holds me in his arms.

"What hurts babe? What hurts?" He questioned me. All I could do was cry into his arms. He kept rocking be back and fourth, holding me tight and hushing me. He could tell I was scared.

A member for the rescue team stopped what he was doing and looked around.

"They're terrified." He said. "Just look at them. They lost a team member and their pilot all in one day. They've been stranded out here for 3 days living in the wreckage. We can't put them on that plan without them freaking out. It will become a huge hassle. What are we going to do?" The rest of "Recuse Team Red" look at us and the wreckage.

"Sedate them. We'll sedate them and get them to the hospital. It's our only option." The team leader says. The rest of them began the sedation process.

I look up at Derek. "What are they giving us?" I asked worried. A member came over and looked at us.

"Its a mixture of a sedative and pain medication. We tend to use Dilaudid. Its to help with the pain in case you awake during the trip."

Derek went to talk but before he could say anything I cut him off.

"Sounds good to me."

The rescue member walked away to get the sedation mixture.

"What the fuck Spencer?" Derek whispered yelled at me.

"It's nothing. I'll be fine. If you stop him for sedating me, I swear I will never speak to you again."

Derek frowned at me and got up to leave. I ignored it and sat there waiting for the sedation.

The rescue member came over and started an IV on me.

"How long until I feel the effects?"

"It just depends on your tolerance. It can be anywhere from a minute to 5 minutes. I'll monitor you until then. But for now I need to assess your injuries. What hurts?" He asked.

"My legs and lower back. My head a little." I explained.

After about 5 minutes of questions he administered the sedation. I smiled for a second feeling the effects of Dilaudid once again. After about 5 more minutes, I began to feel the effects of the sedation. Next thing I know, I'm asleep.
