-It was only five- fifteen when everybody had finally met up in front of the airport. Everybody greeted each other and exchanged hugs, they all looked too happy for the reason they were going on this trip. Everybody knew that this trip meant a lot to Sophia and that's why they had agreed to join her on this trip. Even though Sophia's friends had a life they made the effort and sacfrifice to join Sophia. Yes, these women had a life, they had careers and famil, they had success and fortune. And yes even Mary Kay. Linda was high payed Lawyer just like Sophia. Linda didn't have the patience to be a lawyer, but she sure did have the guts. She wasn't one to old back and she portrayed her sassy attitude in her work. She had taken the time off of work to travel with Sophia, Let's just say that her co-worker were mighty fine with that! Laura was a nurse, she worked on the pediatric oncology ward. Laura worked wit children who had cancer. She administered chemotherapy and drew blood and gave medication. Laura's kind, sweet and caring personality was perfect or this job, even her nosiness helped her n the job! She would always go into depth with patients and ask them about their lives. Mary Kay didn't like bugs, dirt and she really didn't know when to keep her mouth shut. Mary kay was a wedding planner and she was pretty big. She had to cancer three appointments with three women who needed her help. She knew this was risky and it made her feel bad, honestly. But her best friend needed her most. All three wome had sacrificed their work and reputation to join Sophia and I would say that meant something about their relationship.
John had finally arrived to the picture. He met the girls at the front entrance of the airport. When he met up with them they all just stopped and stared. The looked at him like he was an alien from outer space, like a monkey had escaped from the zoo, like he didn't belong where he was at.
"Hello ladies." John nodded.
"Hi." They all said in unisio, except for Sophia. Sophia looked at John, she noticed how timid and nervous he looked. This must be hard for him, he knows what's going on with Sophia and Tyler. Sophia walked over to John and pulled him away from the grop. The girls stared at Sophia like she had committed one-hundred sins.
"How are you?" It wasn't a good start, but Sophia didn't have anything else to say.
"Fine." John replied.
"You don't seem fine. If this makes you uncomforable, you don't have to be here John."
"I know you don't want me here, but I promised Tyler." John said almost in an army fashioned way.
"Yes, I know. It's all very frustrating. I don't need your help, your protection, but I'll allow you to come."
"What is with you and saying that!" John yelled so loud that the women heard him clearly.
"What?" Sophia sounded hurt.
"Why do you always say that you'll allow us to come? Who said we were wanting your permission? You don't own us and we don't ned your consent." With that John walked over to the group. Sophia and Laura exchanged worried looks. When the group started to go inside sophia nudged Laura. They made contact and Sophia said "everythings fine, but John definitely lashed out at me. This is going to be one long trip." with that Sophia sighed a big sigh and John quickly glanced at her, knowing that she was talking about him to her friend.
Their flight didn't leave for another hour. The group walked until they got to where the security was. They showed the gaurd their tickets and went on their way through the detector. Of course everybody had taken off all their accessories, shoes and anything else they had on them. The process went smoothly. After they were done and got all their things back and on, everything suddenly fell silent. Nobody knew what to say, the day certainly didn't start out great and the day most likely wouldn't end so well either.
