She didn't know where she was going, she didn't know what direction she was running, she didn't even know how fast she was going. All Sophia cared about or even thought about, was getting away from the beast. Fifteen minutes of running from the beast was starting to tired Sophia out. The beast was on her trail now, getting closer and closer to her. Sophia's bones ached, her throat was dry, she was dehydrated, so many things were making her want to quit but the thing that made her run faster than she ever had before, was the voice inside her head that told her that she was a survivor.
The beast was only twenty feet behind her, roaring and making himself known. John was running as fast as he could, trying to get to Sophia. He needed to protect her, no matter what Tyler says, John knew he needed to protect her, he was the only one fit for the job. Now John was losing the beast and losing sight of Sophia, the beast was still roaring loudly and Sophia was still running. John stopped in his tracks ;He needed a plan of action.
Sophia had finally made it out of the deep part of the dense forest, she was now at the place where the beast's nest was. Where Laura had gotten attacked, where Mary Kay had found Laura, where they had hidden, where they had ran from. The beast was still gaining on her, she couldn't stop now. Sophia looked for a way, a path that would lead her away from the beast. Sophia found the path that lead out of the dense part of the forest. She ran as fast as she could away from the beast. She looked behind her as she ran, she saw the beast, he was now losing distance, he was now slowing down. The beast roared in anger and frustraion. Sophia laughed and as she did she ran into an overgrown trree, smacking her forhead into a large branch that stuck out into the middle of the path, and fell on her back. She moaned as she rolled onto her stomach. The beast had stopped and didn't realize what had happened to Sophia. Sophia slowly got to her knees. The beast looked her direction and realized that she was an easy target . And an easy target she was. Sophia was now running at full speed, but she was extremely dizzy from hitting her head. She had blurry vision and when she looked ahead she saw the entrance to the dense part of the forest, only it looked as if there were three paths to it. Finally her vision had gone to normal and the path was set to where it was before, it was no longer a three- pathed entance. Sophia had slowed down when she had encountered her dizzy spells and the monster was at her feet now. Sophia was now at the entrance and she took a sharp turn to the left, this made the beast lose distance, he was needed more room to turn.

John was running as fast as he could to get to where Sophia was. He was now at the cave where the beast lay his nest. He stood there waiting for any sign of Sophia. Then there it was, a roaring in the distance. John ran as fast as he could to the main path of the forest. He ran as fast as he could, so fast that he made his feet hurt. He felt like he was going to pass out, like his legs would give up, his mouth started to get dry, and a blood taste started to begin in his mouth.

Sophia was now in the area of where the waterfall was at. There, she was welcomed by several burnt bodies, laying all around the waterfall. Sophia looked hard at the burned bodies. The bodies had steam emerging from the bodies, their eyes were wide open with fear, some people were even still alive. They couldn't speak, they could hardly even move. One person, a short woman, laid on her back. Sophia stared in her eyes as she kneeled down beside her.
"What...happened here?" Sophia asked the woman, but the woman only muttered useless sounds. Sophia tried to caox her, treid to get her to say something, any word, any indication of what had happened her, but the woman wouldn't speak, she couldn't speak. Then Sophia gave up, she started to walk away from the woman when the woman said " Ah-ter." The woman said it again. "Ah-ter."
