"Alright Kelsey Nathalia Cruz, you can do this. Just like the first day of class." I mentally told myself and sighed. I took a deep breath in and out and then went inside my classroom. All eyes were on me. Damn.
"I'm sorry, I'm late. I took my--
" It's alright Miss, it's your first day." The teacher said and that calmed me, big time.
"How about introducing yourself to us." She smiled at me then gestured the front of the class.
I looked at the whole class. There are less than 30 students here in the classroom. Plus the room is wide. Well, this is a private school after all. What to expect, right?
"Come on dear." She said
I went in front and took a deep breath.
"Uh, my name's Kelsey Nathalia Cruz. You can call me Kelsey. I'm from the Philippines, and we just moved here." I said and looked at the others while the teacher looked at me with tell-us-something-more kind of look.
"Got something that interests you dear?" She asked
"Well... I do play the guitar and I do sing. I once had a part-time job in a restaurant as a performer, so everynight I sing to their customers." I said
"That's something. Well you can take a seat beside Mr. Jackson, at the back since that's the only seat left." She said and I just nodded.
Wait... Did she say Mr. Jackson? Don't tell me my classmate is Bigi Jackson?
I looked around the classroom and my eyes almost dropped out of its socket. But I composed myself back again. I took the seat and mentally cursed as I was near to fangirling and I can feel myself giddy inside.
"I'm Chloe!" A dirty blonde headed girl from the seat on my front said after the teacher started facing the board.
"Kelsey, nice to meet ya." I said and accepted her handshake
"I'll tour you later here in the school." She said with a wink and I cracked a little laugh and nodded at her. I'm sure she just wants a stroll around the school, that's what my friends from the Philippines do.
"Bigi." I almost jumped right then and there as I heard his voice. OMG!
"Did I scare you? Sorry." I muttered a sorry to him.
"Kelsey." I answered with a polite smile and shook hands with him.
"I hate to disturb your romantic first meeting but I want everybldy to focus on my lecture now. Especially you Ms. Cruz since you are already left behind from the lessons." Our teacher said and everybody laughed and I looked and took my hands away.

"Now this is our last stop! The cafeteria. At last, I'm sooo hungry!" Chloe said and tapped her belly
"You're always hungry, love." Gareth joked earning a slap from Chloe.
"You are so rude to your girlfriend." Chloe said, rolling her eyes at Gareth.
"Don't mind him." She said facing me.
It's already lunch time Chloe and I had just finished touring around the campus which is not so big anyway. I saw Max with her new friends too strolling around the area, same thing with what we are doing. Gareth is our classmate from History class which happens to be Chloe's boyfriend.
"Where's Bigi?" Gareth suddenly asked making Chloe look for him in the crowd of students.
"Gonna call him, wait." Chloe said and made her way out of the cafeteria.
"I'm sure you've met Bigi." Gareth said while we take our food from the counter and putting it in our tray.
"Kind of. We're classmates for a few subjects." I said and he nodded
We made our way to one of the tables and waited for our friends.
"You didn't freak out when you saw Bigi?" He asked
"Trust me, my heart almost fell out of my chest! You don't know how hard I tried to make myself look calm." He laughed at me
"So you are a fan of his dad?" I nodded at him and he chuckled
"Well not really a big fan, you know. More like, a fan of his songs." I said trying to explain myself.
"Oh really? Then how come you've known him?"
"His grandpa was one of my mom's patients then my parents became one of their family friends." I said
"But you never met him?" I shook my head no
"Coz I grew up with my grandparents. The last time we went here for vacation was before they became friends."
"That's why. Still it's cool to befriend one of the Jacksons." He said and I nodded in agreement.
A few moments later, Chloe came back now with Bigi with their tray of foods.
"So Bigi, I've just found out that Kelsey's parents are one of your friends?" My eyes almost popped out as Gareth pointed out what I told him.
"Yeah. Her mom showed Paris her picture, with her sister." Bigi said
"Wait, what?" Shock was evident in my voice
"Yeah, last week. When they were invited for a dinner. Paris asked to see your photo because she was intrigued by you." Bihi said nonchalantly
"I wish my mom only said good things." I muttered and they all laughed.
We ate in silence and finished off our food and went to our respective classes.
"What's your next class?" Bigi asked all of a sudden making me jump from my position
"I have Music with Mr. Roberts. Do you know where that is?" I asked completely forgetting the tour I made with Chloe.
"Right beside my room."
"Oh goodie!" I said and almost clapped my hands but I stopped and he let out a small laugh
"Sorry." I apologized and walked along with him
"When you said that my mom has shown you a picture of me, what else did she tell you?" I asked him
"You love photography. You love taking pictures when you're in a vehicle." He smiled
"Oh. I wonder if she had seen them." I muttered
"Why?"
"I barely see her, personally."
He stopped walking so I stopped too.
"This is your next class." He pointed out to the door that says Music and under it has Mr. Roberts' name.
I walked in and went to the back part of the room and unconsciously waiting for the time to pass by.
