"I see you're busy." Felicity said looking at the piles of books on my desk and a sleeping boy next to me. Bigi's hand was holding mine under the desk. Felicity holds a knowing look as I roll my eyes at her jokingly.
"I'm tutoring this boy like what his sister said but he only ends up sleeping every damn time." I said sighing fixing my desk with one hand because the other is preoccupied by the sleeping boy.
"Uh-huh. So you finally decided to let him have a chance?" Felicity asked after she finally caught our hands on each other's.
"You could say that." I say not really knowing what to tell her. I can't really tell her that I'm with Bigi because really, we're not like that yet.
"Oof, I knew you would always be a great pair." She said winking at me before leaving the practice room and us alone with each other.
I shook Bigi awake and I laughed at his startled look, he always give me that shocked look whenever I wake him up and I still don't know why the heck it amuses me every single time.
"Wake up now sleepy head, we got classes." I said before pulling him up and get on our feet. He took my bag from me but I told him no. I don't feel comfortable whenever someone does it for me because Charles--- stop thinking about him, Kelsey. He's been out of your mind for the past months, thinking about him will only make everything worse.
I shook my head for a second before letting Bigi do what he wants to. He was quite happy with what he's doing and I smile with that thought. He's happy, and I should be... Why do I feel like I don't?
I ran to Chloe and Gareth when I saw them in the Hall, which isn't a new thing for me now since he always walk her to our class.
"OMG! Kelsey I missed you!" Chloe shouted not before trapping me in a bear hug, slightly suffocating me in the process.
"Hey! Let her breathe." Bigi said and Chloe let go of me and stuck her tongue at Bigi who just rolled his eyes at the childishness of our friend.
"Stop being so protective over your girlfriend." Chloe said and as if on cue Bigi and I looked away from each other, I can already sense my cheeks heating up.
"Hold up! You guys!" She squealed like a fangirl not before a teacher came by shushing her for being too loud in the hall and the three of us cracked up resulting to Gareth being pinched by his girlfriend.
"Anyway, why didn't you tell me?" Chloe acted like a defeated kid wanting answer from the two of us in which we didn't answer. She keeps on bugging us when the bell rang signalling for us to go to our respective classes.
"Oh look Chloe, gotta go to class! Bye Gareth!" I said dragging her inside the classroom and the two boys just shook their head and I laughed at Chloe's reaction. Bigi followed us after saying goodbye to Gareth.
"You, Kelsey Nathalia, are going to spill the beans later after this class!" She ordered me
"Alright alright." I joked even nodding my head at her only for me to earn a punch.
Just then, the teacher went in the classroom making the whole class quiet. Chloe's eyes were on me the whole day. Bigi and I had our casual chit-chat moments and we didn't bother explaining to my dear friend what happened during the weekends because we don't even know where to start.
"You, Mr. Jackson, ain't going with us. Same goes for you Lewis." Chloe said and just like that, Chloe had kidnapped me.
"You! How dare you didn't update me!" She shouted and I shushed her up forcefully by putting my hand over her mouth with wide eyes.
"I was planning on doing that, I just didn't have the chance to." I said truthfully.
Truth is, all they had ever known is that I like Bigi, Bigi's cool with it but other than that? None. Plus, Bigi and I had only talked it out yesterday after we hangout over Gracie's diner, a place I had just discovered because of Bigi.
"Since when were you became, you know, a couple." She said with wiggling eyebrows
We're keeping our voices down because we don't want the librarian coming onto us and banning us from entering the library. That old lady is scarier than my mom whenever we have done something horrible.
"How do you say if you're a couple already?"
Okay, I admit I'm not new to these things. I had a boyfriend before but having a boyfriend in the Philippines is much different than having a boyfriend here in America! Or so I thought, I don't know! I mean, before you become a couple the boy will court you, make you feel special and all those stupid things that will leave you broken in the end.
"What you guys are doing are being a couple." She said in a matter-of-fact-tone while holding her hand as if I had just asked the weirdest question ever.
"Do you like him?" She asked and I nodded my head quite unsure of my answer
"Does he like you?"
"I like you, Kelsey---" His voice rang inside my head making me blush immensely and Chloe just shook her head while chuckling at herself.
"You really are new to this, aren't you." She said and muttered "cute" afterwards.
"Then you guys are now a couple. You like him, he likes you, what complications do you want to add onto the situation?" She asked and I thought to myself.
"Kelsey, let me ask you one thing. If this is the only thing that can make you happy after going through a tough storm in your life, wouldn't you let yourself be happy? At least for once?" I got drowned with thoughts the moment she finished her words.
She's right... Maybe she's right. Maybe dad's right. Maybe everyone's right. Maybe I should finally let myself be happy, even for once.
"I'm hoping for the best for you two." She said with a smile.
"Now, let's get you back to your long-haired Romeo." I snorted at her words as we were walking out the library. We didn't know that the librarian was around and we shivered at the glare she had sent us after hearing us laughing.
We muttered sorry before leaving the library and to the boys we go.
When we arrived to the cafeteria, Bigi had already ordered my food while Chloe gave me a teasing look. I just made face and walk towards my boyfriend. That doesn't sound bad, in fact I like it.

I just wanna say HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY 3K TO US GUYS!!!
I was so happy after I saw it hours ago. I couldn't even believe it! Like I just wrote this story with a very vague story plot inside my head and I don't even know how to continue it, thus resulting to a very long hiatus ( oh, and also blame the mountains of school works because I was graduating at the time).
My eyes couldn't believe that a work that came from a notebook scratch is now reaching 3K in Wattpad! OMG!
Thank you all so much! And I'm terribly sorry for not being able to update you guys with the story every now and then because of several reasons which for now isn't gonna be disclosed, maybe in the future...
Anyway, let's enjoy the story while our little awkward couple begins walking on their flowery path of romance. And I just decided to cut us some slack and reduce the chapter fillers because I think it's gonna be a hella long book if I would.
