Kelsey's P.O.V.
"Hi Honey." Mom greeted as she enters the house. I raised my hands and waved it as if to say hi while I focus on watching tv. It's only 7:00 am and I have nothing to do on a Saturday morning so why not drown myself in a bit of netflix?
"Is everybody still asleep?" Mom asked putting down the bags of grocery on the counter top
"Yup."
It's been a week since me and my sister, Max, have moved here in the states. But since we're still new here, our parents still wouldn't let us stroll the cities by ourselves.
So far, we only know how to go to school and how to go home. Other than that? Nothing.
"You woke up early." She joked while preparing our breakfast. I'm still watching Netflix and eating my cereal.
"Grandma wouldn't let me sleep til the afternoon." I know that it's very unethical to let your mom prepare dishes or do any household chores while you, a girl, slacks off. If my grandma was here she would've been nagging me all day long.
"Nanay is still as traditional as ever." Mom said shaking her head.
"I know."
"You don't have any plans today?" She asked
"None at the moment. Why?" I asked her back
"Just checking." She said
After she was done cooking, I woke everybody up and we started eating breakfast. I washed the dishes and then went back to the couch and while wasting my day, my phone suddenly buzzed. It was a text from Chloe.
From: Chloe
Hey girl! Are you free today? Let's go to the mall! Let's hang out. I'm getting bored here!
To: Chloe
Can you drop by? I still don't know the way here lol
Alright, I know I probably should tell my parents and now I don't know where they went. Geez.
From: Chloe
Yes! OMG! Text me your address and I'll be there in an hour.
I forwarded her the address and fixed myself.
It took me half an hour to fix myself up and leave a note on the kitchen so if ever my parents go back home and find out that I'm nowhere in sight, they'll know where I went.
Minutes pass by, somebody parked a car outside our home. I peeked outside and saw that it was Chloe and Gareth.
"Hop in!" She shouted as I locked the door of the house.
I went in the back side of the car and saw Bigi on the other end of the seat.
"Oh hey!" I greeted and he smiled at me.
Music was blaring through the whole car as we go through the city.
"So Kelsey, this is your first time here in L.A.?" Chloe asked
"Nope, not really. We visit here once in a while but we don't usually go out of the house " I said
"You're the same with Bigi. He doesn't love going outside too." Gareth joked earning a kick from Bigi.
"It's understandable on his side. His dad is like one of the most famous celebrity---
"He's THE most famous." Chloe said earning a laugh from everyone in the car.
"It's a shock, you weren't fangirling when you saw him. I saw the look on your face when you sat beside him." Chloe joked and I jokingly rolled my eyes at her.
