This was not how the evening is supposed to go. Like, not at all. All he wanted was to get answers out of the girl now that she's left with no choice but it had to go south.

Before he know it she was deep in the lake and the boy froze on his spot. He didn't know what to do at first and only did he take off his glasses when what took place finally sink in.

He three his glasses on the ground and dived down exactly where she fell, He couldn't see without his glasses and it was dark.

He was holding his breath while trying to search the nothingness that is the black lake when a strand of red hair came into his view.

It was blurry but he went for it and wrapped his arm around whatever part of her he could grab, Swimming upward to pull them both up.

When they reached the surface she was unresponsive and James carefully set her down the ground with a slight panic.

He was quick to cast a reviving spell on the girl and she coughed up and spat out water she accidentally drank from the lake and she stayed lying on the ground exhausted.

She just locked gazes with her saviour and smiled softly before drifting to unconciousness.

James ended up bringing the girl to his dorm and she rests on the bed, Stirring every now and then and humming in her sleep while James watch her from his spot next to her.

Normally he would've taken her back to her common room or the hospital wing but they'd get in trouble for being out. He wouldn't mind detention but he didn't wanna drag the girl down with him so he dried her with a spell and warmed her up with a charm.

The look the Fat Lady was a sight to see when she saw James holding an unconcious Slytherin in his arms.

And so after an hour of watching her sleep like a creepy stalker, He managed to get a good look at her and she was beautiful. He's loyal to only one redhead but he's got eyes.

He fell asleep at the thought of her hating him the next morning and how he's gonna explain himself.

Three boys surround the a certain hazel-eyed boy's bed the next morning. All equally stunned to see their friend holding a girl close to his chest.

Their position was questionable. Her face is burried in his chest so she's not seen and James had one hand at the back of her head, Holding girl closer while his other arm is wrapped around her waist.

"Is that Lily?" Peter asked trying to tiptoe and see the girl's face but to no avail. The two boys shrugged.

"I highly doubt that. She would've hexed him before he even gets the suggestion to sleep with him out." Remus replied who is frowning.

Sirius on the other hand was smirking mischievously. He's been friends with James for so long that he knew the shade of Lily's red hair and this was not it.

"It's not Lily you dumb dumbs, The uniform." He pointed out and Peter gasped. Remus looked scarred, he was that shocked. (No pun intended tho.)

"How?" Remus asked and Sirius shrugged indicating he's as clueless. "Should we wake them up? It's almost breakfast." Peter asked and he almost jumped at the sudden movement from the two sleeping figures.

Acacia felt relaxed and she opened her eyes to find her face pressed against something but she was comfortable.

She also felt oddly warm, far from the cold that the dungeons offered even in the hottest summer.

And then she felt a light squeeze on her hip bone. She slowly looked up and froze at the sight of James Potter's sleeping face so close to her and gulped.

What did I get myself into

She carefully looked down and thanked Merlin that she's clothed. Slowly pulling away he only tightened his hold and she heard a fake cough nearby.

She stirred to face three Gryffindors frowning and crossing their arms and immediately pushed James off of her.

The action made the boy fall off and he landed with a loud thud. "Godric, fuck!" He yelled and pushed himself up to glare at ths girl.

She held the same glare but the mean staring contest ended with Sirius clearing his throat.

"Why am I here?" She asked the four boys and looked around. The room was messy and she can see a pile of clothes in the corner, Parchments lying around and the smell of chocolate is invading the room.

It also hurts her just opened eyes to see so much of the Scarlett and Gold, Almost blinding her.

"We were gonna ask you the same thing." Remus spoke up to break the girl in her trance and without another word she slid off the bed and walked out.

"You've got some explaining to do." Sirius who is still smirking turned to James. His eyebrows wiggling suggestively. "Yeah but let me at least brush my teeth first."

The hazel-eyed boy replied nonchalantly as if he wasn't caught sleeping with a girl.

Meanwhile Acacia regretted storming out when she had everyone's eyes darted on her. 1) She was a Slytherin in the Gryffindor common room. 2) She was a girl leaving the boys' dorm and 3) She looked like a mess.

Leaving them to their imaginations she ran out and went straight for the room of requirements, Her safe haven.
